I just realized this is the exact point Na-in stops loving Amon and only starts to later in the side stories ╥﹏╥
Amon doesn't appear for a while after this.
The whole story starts developing from this point and a hell lot of things happen we even get an Amon pov near the end which is crucial for understanding his character. It's genuinely humbling for a character you like to be so hated on but I do believe views on Amon will shift, even if not significantly, as the story goes on
I do think so, yes. I did feel like things developed too easily between Na-in and Gwen but looking back it fit well considering Na-in deprecating circumstances. The whole thing from this point is the development of Gwen and Na-in's relationship, Na-in avoiding Amon but using his authority, and Na-in's growing resentment for Amon, which is why loving Amon only comes in the side stories. Though even in the side stories whether it's truly love or Stockholm syndrome is questionable but I believe Na-in can grow to love him as time passes because they both are trying to become less unhappy than before.
And I think it was actually a great idea to show Amon's pov in the end of the main story, I can't think of anything better. You can say that the timing is also a crucial point.

I dread the update of this story so much I can feel and predict whenever it's coming
