Just my opinion, I think this might be heavily influenced by Return of Mount Hua Sect but with the mix here and there. I noticed Hisoka too (well, she reminded me of him by her thought :D ) and there were bits that felt familiar but nonetheless, the world building is interesting! Love it, gimme season 2 please!

Ngl, I got utterly confused reading the unofficial scans (although I am not a native, but I promise I am not usually this dense); had I not read the novel, I would have lost the plot already.
I switched to the official translation and my life has become easier. I am really thankful for the earlier releases of the scans but for those who wanted to understand the plot better, the official release might be to your interest.
