In Mexico, we have an expression for when someone is taking too long or overthinking something. in english, there is an expression for that? because I just can’t say: neta, como la hacen de emoción, ya me tiene bien cansada estos morros
I find that English truly has no phrases to describe complex things/emotions whenever I read or consume media from other languages. Many languages have phrases that describe complex/serious things in almost a sarcastic way but English in comparison comes off stoic.
The closest equivalent in English would be likely, they are dragging their feet or they are trying to delay the inevitable.

So much waste potential
