I knew reading the backstory that it wouldn't end well yet I keep hoping like a fool. Poor boy, at least he got to know true kindness if only for a short while! Couldn't his snakes have given him some magic blood or something ( I would have believed it's possible to be saved like that- considering the story's setting)
One of my most favorite characters is taking the stage and WILL deliver. So excited to see how she'll take Sukuna down (though can't help being concerned how when the villain is shown taking hit after hit and seemed cornered, they somehow managed to win by having seen through everyone plans and prepared last second successful hail mary pass)
Kekeke. Seize this chance my boy to trap him in a sweet sweet web of deceit ensuring he falls deeply in love and then STRIKE!
But most likely the story will follow the same pattern of love conquers all and governor will be forgiven as he was only obeying orders/ sad/ miserable childhood blah blah.
Though the political shenanigans are entertaining and the art is gorgeous!
I mean, I once mentioned that this is the case. What is unacceptable by our laws and time period is not weighed by the same scales then. The man is literally doing his job and probably had good reason to kill the MCs family which was extremely common practice when treason was suspected amongst government officials in that era. So if they do get together that would 1) mean the ML will be forgiving the MC for his inevitable betrayal and 2) MC will be forgiving ML for doing his job which was killing his family which he is (understandably) torn to shreds about. And I think anyone would hate to have the upbringing the ML did, being forced to fight your way to the top and prove yourself in a war as a teenager when you should be living a carefree and protected life. It explains his trust issues and scheming perfectly.
On the other hand though, the MCs plan is ironically managing the outcome he wanted which was to earn the MLs trust but in turn he is losing his hand (the pawn he snuck out to meet, the servant who let him sneak out, the ability to be left alone in the estate with lax supervision). This is what will consequently allow for them to fall in love with each other and betray each other, creating a bittersweet climax. I look forward to it lol.
Don't want to rain on the elation here but it's usually when we think they have Sukuna cornered that he pulled a new technique combo and then we're left howling by Gege's pitiless decimation of favorite characters.
Gege has been rubbing salt in the wounds by alluding to Gojo's removal.
Still glad he managed to weaken Sukuna a bit.
The administrator has done our boy a huge favor by implying that Yeonjo is pitiful and in need of comfort which will help lessen our governor's suspicions.
I know we want the governor to be putty in our boy's hands but I want REVENGE- serves so cold hell freezes over. How delicious would it be for the author to have our boy destroy the murderer of his entire family after he fell completely and utterly in love?
While I feel it's near impossible to find cute/well tailored skirts (with pockets) for adults!
Those long tunics men wear in the Arab world look nice so does a kilt or the wrap skirt in certain Asian and African countries.
Love the German guy outfits in this manga! Looks very good and very badass!
Moreover, Women were not allowed to wear pants - laws were passed barring women from wearing trousers in ~26 states in the US in the 19th and 20th centuries!
The story is great, the art is delicious, the characters are complex and interesting, love this so much!
