Why is everyone hating on the guy in the last chapter? He didn't cheat. That girl kissed him. He told his girlfriend that she kissed him, and that he wouldn't cheat on her. So why is everyone in the comments like, "OMG, he's a cheater, why would she forgive that jerk?" when he did absolutely nothing wrong?
That's not the problem, sure she was the one who kissed him but he didn't he even feel bad and just said "Don't be so angry", like dafaq? anyone would be angry if their bf was kissed. To add to that he didn't try to make their relationship work so they broke up and during the 3 months he didn't even try to get back with her and in the end, she had to do all the work. Just wow, if he really loved her, he would be the one pursuing her, just goes to show how much he really likes her.
He explained the situation. That should have been enough. He shouldn't have to get down on his hands and knees. Try to make their relationship work? He cared about her. The reason it didn't work was because she has trust issues. If she doesn't trust him, how the hell is he supposed to know that she even LIKES him? If someone I liked didn't like me back, especially if they were angry, I would give them space. Pursuing someone who has expressed disinterest is horrible. This coming from someone who's had the same guy pursuing them for years despite repeatedly stating their disinterest.
O shiz for years? This person sounds like a tough cookie #respect cuz one sided love is painful af. I do believe that people who like someone enough to date them will try to make their relationship work... trust issues spawn from insecurity in a relationship, which means either the communication or the whole "show your affection" part was missing... which means she didn't feel as if she was important/loved enough to win over someone else. And that was proably one of the biggest factors as to why they broke up..... (well idk I wanted to join this conversation but didn't read the story again cuz I knew it was gonna b sad)
Long overdue reply, but you really shouldn't respect someone like that. No means no. This guy kept pursuing me for years. I've actually cut off contact with him, for the most part. If you keep pursuing someone when they say no, you'll be lucky if they even bother continuing to associate with you at all.
I love this story. Really wish the updates were quicker, though I understand it takes a while. So far I've just been checking on YouTube updates to see when he'll finally stand up to them and say, "Imma marry this girl." Don't worry, guys. Only about another sixty-two chapters. Then after that, problems get even worse. orz
They really ruined some parts of this. I'm supposed to feel bad for Ga-Hyun's unrequited love? I'm supposed to feel bad for the girl who raped someone, had the baby and then talks about how his father was her "husband" as if they were close? She has the right to tell Hyun-Bin that she doesn't really love him?
I also disliked the epilogue with the children. It was unnecessary, forced, and I hate how much he looked like Bi-Rak.
It's amazing how they can ruin a story so easily. Still, 7/10.
Also, how do we get this tagged as a tragedy?
Thanks for this post. I was 60 chapters in and just wanted the story to end, so I decided to read the comments to see if it was worth continuing. Clearly it isn't since it looks like it'll get even more frustrating.
Why don't they let the purple-haired daughter marry him if she likes him so much? I originally thought they adopted her so that their own daughter could have some freedom, but if she wants him then why not give her to him instead? Is it because she hasn't been trained to be as "refined" like her adopted sister was?
My understanding (in about nutshell size)
Warning Spoiler (if not already read to ch 25)
☆Both families are superstitious
☆They believe that a persons luck is determined at birth by the stars they are born under, ie some combination the astrological phenomenon and the birth date
☆The 2 heirs (the purple hair and fiancé) were born with disaster level of luck that will cause ruin to their respective families
☆Jingxi was adopted to counter act the bad luck for purple hair
☆The grandfather of the fiancé worked out that if Jingxi were to marry the fiancé that it will counter act his bad luck.
It's mentioned multiple times right from ch 1 that she has the fate of a Queen as per her time of birth - basically astrology type superstition.
I'm glad she's back to hanging out with her friend. She said her friend started ignoring her after getting into a relationship, but I'm pretty convinced that it was in her head due to her preconceived notion of relationships. The friend seemed very happy that Sooha reached out to her.
I understood that Sooha was feeling like a third wheel in their relationship
There were two friends thougj, this one and the one that got married. I dont think she likes the married one
