I've had this theory for a while now, but after reading chapter 48, my theory is starting to seem incredibly real now. Keep in mind, the chapter kind of ended on a cliff hanger by the looks of it and I cannot read Korean but I can tell just by looking at pictures of the last few pages and through some other people thinking the same thing.
Basically what happens is I guess that blonde haired servant serves Lucaon and Kyon some coffee (not sure) and Lucaon had this weird look in his eyes and stares at the cup in kyons hand. Kyon takes a sip and has this incredibly shocked looked in his eyes (Edit: It kind didn't show him taking a sip, the cup was covering his mouth and I don't know Korean but it just seems like something bad is going to happen between Lucaon and Kyon...) The coffee has probably been poisoned... However Kyon looked really scared and Lucaon looked so serious? Maybe he's going to have to tell Lucaon the truth now.
Now why does this make my theory seem kind of real? My theory is that Kyon was not sent to the mansion to KILL Lucaon but to be KILLED. Give your enemy a weakness and infuse that weakness by killing him. Leaving a crack in Lucaon's defense. Edwin thought Kyon could probably gain Lucaons' trust and he was absolutely right. Kyon is now very very close with Lucaon, so maybe the plan was to kill Kyon instead. This becomes all the more apparent when Christoph was attacked in the most recent chapter and Karis was stabbed trying to help him. It seemed the intention was to kill them? So Edwin is probably targeting other people as well. Then literally right after we see Karis lying in a bed, not looking very well, we skip back to Lucaon and Kyon and again that scene with the coffee happens. Why would this random guy attack the servants specifically? Unless they were the targets?
My theory is not canon and I could be completely wrong, but I'm starting to see how this theory I came up with a little while ago, is starting slowly appear in the comic before my eyes? Maybe? We'll have too see (:
I remember for a while not wanting Kyon to tell Lucaon the truth, because like Kyon I was terrified of what Lucaons reaction would be. However, now I really just want Kyon to tell Lucaon the truth, because the longer this goes on, the worst the outcome is going to be. I just can just feel the indecisiveness Kyon is going through. I keep going through all the possible reactions Lucaon will have to Kyon's story. I'm so nervous.
Kyon kind of seems mentally unstable and he literally tried to kill himself a few chapters back (I think that's what his goal was) so if Lucaon rejects him or acts out, it might push Kyon over the edge. Lucaon is all Kyon has, and he obviously loves him to death. They're like inseparable at the moment. I think Kyon might try to kill himself again depending on Lucaons reaction. It might trigger something in Lucaon and he'll realise how serious Kyon is about him. Anyways its just a theory of mine and I actually would like to see this play out. My theory isn''t canon obviously lol.
The more psychologically dependent Lucaon is becoming on Kyon, the harsher the truth might be. But its also a good thing, because I don't think Lucaon could ever hate Kyon again. I don't think he'll turn back to the way he was with kyon before. Maybe he'll try to lash out at him, but ultimately can't do it? We'll just have to wait and see > . < hopefully he tells him next chapter...
