i love the original elise so much, she deserves the world im glad she ended up being in good terms with the original edith. i prefer the ending of the adaptation compared to the light novel, because it didn’t give any justice to the original elise. what i didn’t like about the manhwa however, is that we never got to see edith in her yellow dress. i was really looking forward to seeing it because when it was described in the novel, it truly sounded magical. but if we put the yellow dress aside, the artist really did a great job with the adaptation! kudos to them
i need more male leads like this the ominous aura the duke has is making this manhwa seem more interesting, and i really hope it doesn’t disappoint me in the later chapters.

Seyard is not actually Seyard but rather Visherk the “dead” brother. It’s been a while so I can’t remember the exact circumstances but basically all the rumours and stuff that Daniel told her were true (gambling, the angry diary entries etc.) but when Seyard died instead of Visherk our ML say the opportunity to get out of his marriage to the Princess (who he really can’t stand) and to have the FL who he has always had feelings for. It’s why the Princess at one stage says that the twins have the same taste in women because as far as anyone knows that is true. The ML also manipulated certain situations in order to have the FL e.g. he had a hand in her finding out about the mistress.

this is basically js mamma mia if it was renaissance smut
