It’s freaking insane the amount of people in the comment section getting the ick and calling him a bad guy for sleeping with the tutor while ignoring the whole part about him getting physically and emotionally abused by his father throughout his childhood. He is literally getting beat with a golf club. Like he obviously has a complicated relationship with his father and wanted to spite his dad for trying to push him to become company heir + he was a teen when it happened. Cut him some slack

Right! The tutor is in a position of power while he is the student. It’s her responsibility to shut it down. I understand people being unhappy with his decisions but for me I think it was well written plot point to explain his mindset and how he grew up. He’s human and humans make mistakes. People are just overly harsh on MLs expecting them to react perfectly to every situation and to always make the correct decisions
Ngl I read spoilers before reading this and it’s just so painful that she’s not even allowed to die. I know people hate the duke/cardinal but nah I hate the king the most. Like she reluctantly sided with nobles to avoid the church and saved his kid from a tiger and he still looks down on her for being a commoner and wants her to be subservient to him like nah it’s time to poof him first. He needs to wake up and realize he needs her more than she needs him. At least the red head has a reason for being messed up.
