im confused. can someone explain to me akihiko and ugetsu's relationship? despite being in love with each other, why was ugetsu in so much pain and constantly suffering with akihiko? Was he too overwhelmed by his emotions? It stated in the manga that ugetsu feels emotions more intensely than an average person but holds it all in and akihiko pities him for it. does he think his love for akihiko gets in the way with his love for music? someone help a girl out
I think maybe Aki had let his drive and passion for the violin die when he met Ugetsu. In the face of Ugetsu's talent he both fell in love and immensely jealous of him so he may have given up on playing the violin; hence the change in instramental vocations. Ugetsu was really sensitive to this and it not only effected their love for each other but also their love of music. Aki did not want to let Ugetsu go and Ugetsu was not strong enough to completely break it off so he would just push him away. This led to their halfway relationship, where they only end up emotionally hurting each other.
