Haven't really read a lot (5 chapters) but the mc annoys the living shit out of me. He keeps doing things he shouldn't do, and doesn't learn anything from them. Eats chestnuts -> apologizes -> 'I'll be more careful-> 20 seconds later -> oh let's go through this area where I'm not allowed to go -> gets caught -> oh let's go to another area I'm not allowed to -> gets caught. Please tell me he learns his lesson. Bro, there has to be a point where it's enough or at least a reason for why he has only 2 braincells.
I didn't notice this was from the same universe as dtr makes sense tho, the author really likes making regretful mls that are almost too late, mc is a policeman, ml is a doctor, ml finds out the reason why mc told him hurtful things (to have nude photos of him deleted, the photos weren't even his btw) so he investigated him, then when he found out mc truly had no one he tried calling him, cuz he wanted to apologize and make up (just a few days prior he rejected mc, he said that even if he had a reason, he should've told him abt it, told him that he doesn't trust him enough) meanwhile mc was kinda dying. Anyways, mc doesn't pick up the phone, obviously, then the girl mc was trying to save arrives at his house (mc - a cop, someone was trying to kidnap this one girl again, amy, and so he kinda got stabbed, he managed to zap them and handcuff them to himself tho) and tells him mc is nearby in danger. Ml runs there, finds him bloodied, loses his calm and starts arranging for the hospital he works at to be ready for an operation asap, then cries (bro's in agony - he wants to apologize and tell him he loves him but he can't do that if mc's dead) anyways, not sure where that was but he hints that if mc died he would've killed the perperator and then himself. Rn I'm at the point where they arrest david, his father + ian (or at least surely his father, idk why cuz the mtl is making my brain hurt) mc was forced to date Ian for 2 years, cuz he was told they'd delete ml's pics when ian dumps him. From what I understood Ian "broke up" with him after mc puked after he sexually assaulted him.
