I kinda like the seme? I mean all of his talks about revenge etc are just full bulshit, like 3min after he's like "let's date him, I can never say no to him" and since high school mind you, man was just in denial, and he's actually not bad or a scum seme, just super immature with his feelings, but he never did something bad to the uke?

The only red point was the slut remark who was out of line, and he deserved his lashings, but he explained his emotions just after and I can understand him, being ghost/cut off (and twice mind you) just after having sex when you thought everything was good between you two, anyone would feel fu*king miserable, it's his frustration and feelings accumulated all those years that blew up (in the most ugly way, I concede, but not enough to make him a scum).

For the uke his character was less developed, so it's hard to draw a portrait of him, but I have mix feelings about him, I understand where he came from, but their twist relationship his he fault.
Like he never thought that he'll have a chance with seme, (seme is not gay, got a lot of girlfriends, a lot of friends) so contrary to him whom seme was super important, uke thought he was just "one of his friend, nothing special" so he never dreamt/imagined that his confession would have any impact on him.
So let's say it's the immaturity of high schoolers, but now they are adults, there is no obstacles between them, seme shows his interest and will to continue their relationship (so even if it's not love, what he's afraid of? Isn't it the good opportunity to make him fall for him?). But no, he ditched him a second time, without explanation, without discussion, nothing... like come on you're adults now, it's not the time to run hiding when you're afraid about a relationship....

Both their characters are frustrating, but I wanted to balance a bit the comment session that was full against seme lol.

I really like the story so far, so I'll continue, but I have to say sometimes it feels too fast paced, things aren't developed as much as they should, and that damage the characters building, like you really have to read between the lines to understand where they came from. This story screams "SHORT story, we will not pass the 30th chapter" which is a bit sad, since it's a good story.

I don't know why the ML is so strikingly handsome but the mc is just so-so, his profil is good, but from the front he looks always tired. In the novel even if mc he's not as handsome as ml, he's still super good looking.

The ML is not a red flag, they always had consent s*x, and it's not a case of "ml doesn't understand his feelings and so hurts mc in the process". ML is not a child (32y) so he understands his feelings, and appart from the initial coldness in the beginning he's very sweet and caring and gives mc all the love he has.
But he actually did something really bad to mc and was always anxious about that, so sometimes they relationship feels anxious for the reader (but this is actually the thrill and the charm of this novel, appart from ml charm and handsomeness, and his whole being,... did I say ml was handsome?).
Anyway this turn into ml pouring all the love and caring in the world in mc, and making him dependant of him, so that when he (mc) found out the truth, he'll stay with him. The process was awkward but it's still his true feelings and sincerity, so it's complicated to be 100% mad at him.

And I don't know why people are mad at mc to be overly sensitive about ml, but to be honest the 2 of them cannot not be drawn to each other. It's because we have mc pov, but if we had ml pov he will be 100% worst and since the very beginning. In chapter 7 ml is already showing signs of jealousy and being overly sensitive of mc, ofc it's not love yet, but it's not because ml is good at hiding his feelings that it's mean he doesn't suffer internal turmoil seeing mc lol.

Anyway I'm so happy to see the artist of Night song in a new manhwa, in a modern setting nonetheless, and with this very good novel.
