The ending feels open ended to me since Dojin keeps on forgetting everything. Is the memory problem solved forever? Is he gonna go back to Juyeon's sister now if it is? Since he never actually answers Juyeon's questions about whether he is going to leave for his sister. What are they gonna do next? So many questions. This really needed to be a longer series, ngl. Expand the story and give a better and clean closure to Dojin's amnesia arc.
I really hate the dead lover trope, so I actually far prefer the fact that Dojin's girlfriend wasn't dead, she just left him. It was so cruel of her to leave him when he just got into a car crash. How do you completely erase the existence of someone you dated for EIGHT years? People will do anything but go to therapy for their traumas. Same goes for Juyeon. Both siblings should have gone for therapy. It's clear they were both still suffering from the after effects of their parents' death.
Also, the consent here seemed more ambiguous than rape to me. His memories are already messed up and jarring, it seems like Dojin never really refused Juyeon's advances but he himself never really initiated anything. It's hard to figure out what happened in that time span.
Arima could have questioned his feelings for Naganuki way more ways than Naganuki having to be SAed. That was wholly unnecessary.
It was nice to see a happy and healthy parents in an omegaverse for once. Happy for you, Arima.
A SEQUAL PLEASE. They JUST got together and boom, it was the end. Not very fair. I wanna see more of these two.
The ending left me feeling empty. I was never shipping Waki with the dead dude but I definitely was waiting to see more development between Waki and Rika. It feels disappointing how open ended their relationship ended up being. I was hoping after Waki wraps up his arc with Hoshihiko, the author will then focus on developing Waki and Rika's relationship. It's sad how that never happened.
Very cute manga, but the author rushed this so much by the end. It looks like the number one callboy would have entered the story, but he barely appeared in two panels max because the author rushed to end the story within five chapters. This started out strong, but the ending kind of felt super rushed and weird. The MCs were obviously very cute though, but I wish the story took a little more time and development before jumping to them dating.
I thought Aoi and Jirou were the main couple of this story, but I felt like more than half the manga was about Kudou and Miyauchi, lol. Aoi and Jirou's story was very rushed while the author took their time to really write Miyauchi and Kudou well.
Re-reading this manga years later, I realized Miyauchi sleeping with other men to "save" Aoi never made much sense to me. Aoi may have been an omega but he was still born in a prestigious family. His past felt a little silly to me and it felt like the author just wanted to give Miyauchi a sexual trauma but didn't care about making it make sense.
Even if he did sell himself to save Aoi, it doesn't mean that that those men wouldn't still harm Aoi. I don't mind sexual trauma being shown in manga, but it shouldn't feel like it's being used as a shock factor or a plot device to move the plot forward. Which it did feel like in Miyauchi's case. At least Kudou's SA was handled in a very serious way.
Also, the master and butler both saying "desire more of me!!" to their partners was a nice touch.
I kind of don't like how Yehwa and Baeksa are going to merge together. It would have been nice if Baeksa got another body and he ended up with Muyeon later on. Dunno how to feel about all the stepfather/adoptive father thing, tbh.
RIGHTTTT THATS WHAT IM SAYING
