after re reading it ,I feel like even if jaemin and soohyun wouldn't have pretended to be in relationship,there story still would have turned out this way because even if soohyun would have expressed his feelings to daon ,he wouldn't have considered it as he was obsessed with jaemin kindness and jaemin had already said that he liked soohyun ,so it's was probably like he would ignore soohyun for his jaemin hyung which he was already doing after knowing that jaemin liked soohyun , which resulted both jaemin and soohyun pretended to be in relationship (which wasn't sane decision tbh).
The reason Seunghyun had upper in all this was obviously he was greenest of all and ig the main reason would be jaemin didn't really get to mess him like he did to soohyun , although it would have depend how would he take that and another reason was, like those three he wasn't acquaintance with them prior.
and somewhere i also feel that even if it wasn't coz of jaemin psychopath or soohyun abusive nature , life of daon would still be fucked up and jaemin and soohyun had to suffer along with daon ,because of his indecisiveness .
