the meaning that the author was trying to convey was profound, but the presentation was piss poor

Have never been so happy over a story to end. I still don't understand why it took so long, my hate for Jooin kept growing each chapter.

And one last time for the record: Team Cain, he was treated so bad, but don't ya'll worry, that cute puppy is with me now and I'll give him the love he deserves.

i don’t know how to explain it, but i think the reasoning why the ending felt like it lackluster was because Jooin gave really good advice to Cain but never applied it to himself???

I liked this series because it was one of those polarizing series where people like to take sides which team they belong to (cain or yahwi). I just think the author spent too much time on the love triangle and adding weird and unnecasry back stories (yahwi’s sad childhood, cain’s reincarnation side story) that didn’t relaly matter to the overall narrative.

I kinda get where the author is going with jooin’s excessive internal monologues but it kinda feels excessive because it was not properly built up from the start. Also, I think the author could have really used time and distance of Jooin and Yahwi more effectively in order to really show how both of them has changed for the better.

Instead we get this awkward ending with an out of character jooin and yahwi which doesn’t seem sweet at all but awkward and forced.

Anyway, I still liked reading this tho since it is entertaining lol

We're finally here y'all. It's over. Did I enjoy it? At the end of the day, all I can say is: Eh... Not really. It was extremely drawn out, and kind of a mess (meaning the storyline itself/the writing). I see A LOT of arguing about love triangles in the comments, mostly people saying if you don't like this story, then you don't like love triangles. That's not even CLOSE! I've read more love triangle plots than I care to admit. There's a right way and a wrong way to build a plot, and this story ultimately failed to come together. Cain's storyline about reincarnation was SO misplaced here. It would have made more sense if Yahwi also had his own reincarnation substory involving Jooin to combat Cain's. Instead it feels like a bunch of random ideas the author had, then got thrown together to try and create a story. Now that being said, is this the worst thing I've ever read? No. Will I read anything else by this author again? Depends, tbh.

i might just be high but this (ch 99)would have been a good ending. it would show some relationships seem to be everything, have ups and downs but sometimes you can't get past the hard times but they're just not meant to be. sure the story would have been for nothing in a way but it would have been a different ending from most.
that ending wouldn't fit the current plot though, maybe a shonen ai hmmm....
or maybe this is just me projecting cause i lost my best friend LOLL im just high hehe

I'm at 99 now and I still hate yahwi there's nothing likeable or loveable about him. I can't seem to find any good thing about him but hey if Jooin love him then okay.

This ending was actually so realstic!
According to statistics the victim of aggression tends to return to his perpetrator. Yahwi abused Jooin when he was drunk, gave him money for sleeping, got physically violent and used psychological abuse.
Now they gotta add tragedy to the tags
