I was already put off by the 50th dreaded unnecessary slavery trope inclusion but am I going insane or is that dialogue in chapter 17 also implying that the MALE LEAD we are supposed to be rooting for is a full-on no joke official slave trader?? HUUUH...?!?! Is that really the route we're taking rn?? Is he like supposed to be infiltrating / undercover for the greater good or something?? This makes the second prince look like the actual puppy option to me and thats saying a LOT.
