i don’t see a lot of people talking about this, but i really love it when characters misunderstand and believe that the mc is going to die or even when they actually do know they’re going to die for real. it pulls on the heartstrings especially when it’s a prolonged descent in terms of the progression of the disease. ik it sounds morbid, but i get more attached to the characters in those types of situations.

i cried in the 99-102 chapters. they’re so touching and it feels like it’s been forever since over seen claude and it’s so relieving that he woke up without any complications. he can take care of all of the ministers and advisors now that he’s back and athy met her mom who had been watching over her and loving her the whole time. god i’m obsessed with this webtoon.
i like how these people are making very real mistakes and reacting accordingly to these mistakes with shame and embarrassment. they aren’t perfect characters that do things at just the right time to further the plot. they are dealing with emotions as teenagers trying to grasp these new situations they’re in and emotions they’re feeling. they can feel confusion and sympathy and the fact that he relates to tsurugi in that his emotions have blocked off certain ways he could react or want to react to better his situation is so accurate. there are so many times where these emotions or traumas make your brain freeze up and while it’s easy to judge from afar and say that tsurugi should just talk it out with his friend or sayama should talk to saikawa and have an actual conversation about what the both of them are feeling before it escalates, oftentimes it’s hard to confront these situations. they’re confusing, scary, and hard to navigate if you’ve never seen them play out before, and as teenagers, this is the first time they’re in these situations and feeling these specific feelings especially in this magnitude. we’ve seen a lot of vulnerability from them thus far and that isn’t easy in itself. confronting the situation as it is and sayama taking accountability and apologizing to the girl for what he said is commendable. he was carrying a lot of baggage with him because of the guilt and shame he felt about the way he reacted, but the fact that that didn’t play a part in his apology was really great to see. it seemed as if he wasn’t apologizing so that he could feel better about himself but to let her know of his feelings. i can imagine that this was the first time tsurugi was able to tell his side of the story or was even asked to and that must be relieving but also overwhelming in its own way. recounting that story probably brought back all of those emotions he was feeling during the time it took place. it was probably scary especially considering that he didn’t know how sayama was going to react. he was probably preparing for the worst and preparing for him to accuse him of lying or reject his point of view altogether. sayama did so well in that situation though because he could see things from his point of view as someone who also carried the same kind of burden and i’m just so proud of these characters. i honestly can’t wait to see where this goes and if anyone has actually read this all, i commend you.
i’m so excited that she wants to talk through this misunderstanding and regain his trust!!! it’s so easy to be overwhelmed by emotion in these situations, but even though she’s still feeling those emotions, she’s trying to focus on making the situation between her and hades better and i really appreciate that!!
i keep hearing that things get super dark when people are talking about the spoilers and stuff and i’m so down for it. i haven’t read any spoilers and i don’t want to because i want to go into it fresh but i’m so exciteddddddd!!!!
i like the mc a lot. like a lot a lot. she’s already trying to better herself and admits her faults when they’re pointed out but she’s not overly optimistic or pessimistic. she had a sheltered life and it shows but as her view of reality changes, her standard of what is realistic changes as well and it’s nice to see.
are these two with of the characters that used to be in charlotte’s reverse harem? it looks like they’re being set up to join our fl’s harem instead. also i love how killian and alya have actually connected and understand each other to a reasonable degree. i want to know more about his past and i also want to know how he’ll react when he learns that she was the author. :)
the prince’s plan wouldn’t actually be bad if he wasn’t the main opposing force so out in the open. even if he did support the other perfumer, he should have done it from behind the scenes and then could have been her investor. then he could have ditched the other perfumer and he would have gotten on her good side. he would just need to deal with keeping the other girl’s mouth shut and the suspicion on why the other perfumer’s shop went out of business so fast, but that could easily just be accredited to the talent and popularity of our girl’s business. he really do be dumb tho. i just came up with that basic process in like 2 min. he needs to freshen up on his critical thinking skills. he said “what’s the smartest way to get girl to like me? be mean. she’ll run into my arms
