Motherfuckers in the comment section losing there marbles just because she trapped in the house pffft I'm laughing my ass off, clearly she don't want to go out. she is very simple, she don't even feel trapped, but readers wanna be overdramatic with everything when it comes to an ok story. the male lead shouldn't even have "labels" such as "red flag or yellow flag" its not like he put chains on her, he literally trying to protect her from the vassels. she literally chilling. but hey if y'all wanna be blind go right ahead. if I was her I would've slept the whole time, eat some food, take a bubbly bath.
But I ain't finished, honestly do not care if you drop the story, but I will say this, as soon as you see a little change y'all always call the male lead toxic, Did he follow her around like a stalker say nooo, did he put chains on her wrist and ankles say nooo, did he sexual abuse say nooo, did he force her to have an heir no, did he keep in contact with his ex fiancé no, did he break her ankles and make her stay in a locked up room noooo. so my question is what is so damn toxic? obviously a man wants to protect the wife since she is a sweetheart, since she isn't a tough female lead like y'all want her to be since she is a female knight. don't come in my comment section acting retarded I want some real answers not a beat around the bush answer. fake answers will be blocked cause if this offended you oops not my bad
But if his brainwashed doesn't that mean his like a lifeless dog under control of a spell? sorry say this but why is he the abuser when it's not exactly his fault? are people being blinded by not reading the story correctly or? like I said if he wasn't brainwashed then yeah I would agree with half of y'all calling him a abuser but at the end of the day he was just a doll being a controlled by Beatrice. I ain't taking his side but we need to look around the fact that it isn't his fault, common sense new gen.
I kinda want to have my piece here and saying for mc, no matter if the ml was brainsmwashed or not, her trauma would still considering him as her abuser; thus makes us, as reader who see her point of view considering him as one too.
At least this one is good because the brainwash in previous life is 100 percents thorought and yet u can still see the consequences of those on both of them now. Usually a lot of authors whos using this trope skip it and just straight up only writing the consequenses for the fl and punishment on ml.

Lol Well wasn't the male honest? the vassels were more toxic then the male lead. they trying to control who he marry, trying to take over the house. they were both honest to each other that's all to there. He isn't toxic, he knows what his so called people are like. and honestly everyone like queen this and that, but imma be honest she is to soft, they should've been executed in my opinion there nothing but idiots who trying to control a grown man he isn't toxic his a duke who has to do right by his house. you can call me wrong in the comment section but honestly you all just weak, now more trouble gonna rise lmao. this is what happen when a hero tries to save villaines and then they get back stabbed just for doing that "I can change them, I can make them better, I can make them into a good person" blah blah what a pitiful world we live in
I so agree with you, either be executed to serve as a warning to others or take advantage of them and make rhem suffer all their lives. And I'm also shocked that fl is too soft hearted since she grew up with mercenaries, cause aren't mercenaries lawless like they are much worse since they don't follow a law and just their own desires or living for theirselves. And its impossible to not encounter atleast one mercenary thats cruel and selfish. I would rather believe she grew up with knights because of her sense of justice and ability to have empathy with her subjects...
I did say before that even though she is a knight, I feel like the ones who didn't teach her how noble life is, either you cut them off completely or you give a real good warning to them. mercy is never the best choice. because you can backstabbed without even realizing it. I wish the mercenaries actually taught her how to be cruel not evil just cruel so she wouldn't pity the bad guys.
