And unlike other stories this one was a murder mystery that ended with another mysterious death(jian's- he's alive hopefully). After looking at the tweet I'm hopeful. To some extent after a certain phase the side couple made more impact on me. Yes I too don't expect them exclusively in the main story(not to mention they're already there) but an author's note on the story's end might have been nice. Now I'm not demanding something here as we all are reading this pirated copies.

You weren’t very kind, saying you wasted 7 weeks implies that there’s something wrong with the main couple. Unfortunately if you didn’t want to see their story, you shouldn’t have read. But there was no reason to say it like that, that’s why it sounded demanding. I also wouldn’t say authors normally bring back side couples for the first side story. Typically it’s a side for the main couple, then a side for the side couple. Sure an authors note would’ve been nice, but implying time was wasted on writing these stories is quite rude.
