sorry I was being dramatic there is a novel for this, not fully translated but theres smth. about chapter 59 on nyx scans. but I’ll still quick summarize the next chapters
like barely a couple of days after season end this, the Duke does manage to get her to answer some questions about her situation (privately, he even did essentially a NDA too lol) and he was the only one to know for a bit. then The Crown Prince’s and Duke’s cousin comes over to the city which politically is a huge problem bc the guy also has a legitimate chance for the Throne and started to make attempts at it. Remember the red-head aunt lady from the earlier part of the story? she and her family is supporting the cousin. since the Duke doesnt care for all this political nonsense, he starts to make plans to leave the city immediately and go back to his territory with Adi.
the Count fucking kills the cousin guy (bro barely did shit lmao) and framed Adi as the murderer while kidnapping her to forcefully end her rebellion against him and force her back to the territory and continue the family line with that Knight guy Zed
So its official the rest of the story is going to be traumatizing for mc not that it isn't already also can that guy (zed-and her father) pls leave mc the f alone
