Can I say that I like the dad-emperor in the 'he intrigued me' kinda way (as a character, not as a person)?? Lol. I really like the politics and characters in this story in general, everyone's personalities and motivations are complicated, not cartoonishly evil or 'oh my god why should I root for you', and even the good people have flaws. AND OH MY GOD I HAVE A CRUSH ON THE MC she's just sooo (I like that she's just reincarnated in someone's body and doesn't have past memories or something). Now I'm very curious about why her ex killed her (and why she woke up in Rachel's body).. There must be a very interesting reason for that.
I saw spoilers and that dad emperor is not a good guy. I wish he would act like one of those dads like Claude from who made me emperor but this guy is worse
That's exactly why I said I like him and the other characters as characters and not as people lol. I like characters who's straight up not good people but have motivations that make sense to me (even if I would never want to deal with their shit irl lol) better than ones who make me "dude you make someone you 'love' miserable without remorse or being punished for it, they may forgive you but I won't" LOL
