She didn't seem to hate the idea of staying with roger since he cared about her a lot and I want roger too since he's the only ml that's willing to risk it all for her.
TLDR: I don't trust our dear author to let them live Happily Ever After... (T^T)
In a typical romance story, she would end up with Roger "Happy Ever After" with no repercussions. But this author has already shown their love of severe consequences regardless of intention. So I don't see how a happy ending is possible for them without a therapy time skip. (Especially with Roger and the Duke gearing up to stage a coup. Roger has rhe support of the people, but what about the woman who's to blame for the political unrest? And I doubt the nobles will take kindly to her shaking up their status quo.)
It's one thing to write fix-it fic it's another to try to force your fan fic on others. Especially when those others are/become real people. （￣へ￣）
I feel like I'm losing a lot in translation and cultural/mythological references with this one. Could anyone link me to some solid myth/common-cultivation-setting sources so I could read up and maybe understand a fraction more of this story? (I do read Cultivation stories, but the ones I read follow breathing and meditation techniques rather than blood and possession techniques )
