I know he's a green and red flag. He does kill her family, his family, and I can't remember if he tries to cage her or not but I know she loves him. So she stays.
i dont think he caged her. he wanted to but didnt because he knows tilia wouldnt be happy. he even supported her in grad school and became guilty because of the pregnancy while shes studying.
afaik theres some jealousy part with the friend but four of them would meet up after that so thats fine too
