I don't have a specific example, but I've clicked on SO MANY fantasy manga with girls central on the cover, thinking they would be the MC... only to immediately find out that the interesting designs are all shallow love interests for some boring male MC who's design is genuinely so plain they didn't put him on the cover   reply
