I only remember the following:
MC was someone from an orthodox sect, probably namgoong clan, but I'm not good enough with the name lore to really discern that, so I could be completely wrong.
Anyway, he was young and arrogant, but righteous and talented as well. One day, he gets killed (can't remember, but it might have been betrayal). Instead of simply dying, however, he finds himself in a cave with grain balls, in other words, a place to do some secluded training. He finds drawings on the wall, which are martial arts he finds fascinating, so he learns them. When he comes out, though, he realizes that he's not in his original body, but the body of a dude who had just perished when he himself died, so he took over his body. He's also no longer in the orthodox Murim, but in the heavenly demon cult (I'm pretty sure, at least). And the body belongs to their young master.
There are a lot of things happening. Though he fights for his place in the sect, he hates them all, because they are "evil", and his end goal is supposed to be to destroy them. But all is not well in the orthodox Murim either, because the world isn't that black and white.
I also remember one of his best friends coming and dying by the hands of one of the higher ups of the heavenly demon cult, but he turns him into a sentient undead, like fucking Wei WuXian (if you know, you know).

Does that ring a bell for anyone? Of course, I'm just hoping I won't find out it has been axed again. That's been happening way too often recently.

It's a FL reincarnation / transmigration story. I read it up to a certain point and dropped it when I realized who the ML was going to be. I wanted to add it to a list, but I can't seem to find it anymore.
The FL was once upon a time a "powerful female knight". I don't really buy into shit like that, but whatever floats your boat. It wasn't actually a bad story until someone told me who the endgame ML was, apparently. Anyway, she was killed by the knight of the political enemy her own lord had, which might have been the Emperor of the nation we were in, but the memory is too fuzzy for me to tell for sure. She had white or silver hair, as far as I remember.
After having been beheaded or something, she wakes up in the body of a troublesome noble girl from an enemy nation (I believe). Now she has black hair, btw. And the dude who killed her is apparently the male lead - meanwhile, sub ML is next to her as a knight and way better. I believe her name is either now Estelle or used to be Estelle. But I might be wrong there.
If someone knows the name of this, maybe they can also tell me if the ML was, in the end, not actually that bitch who killed her after.

    OMG, you're right.
    Thanks a lot!
But do you actually know if she goes for the silver haired ass?

    SPOILER

What? No! The sub-ML was the one who killed her. It was her closest confidante in her army.
The ML is the green-haired duke who was her rival in her past life.

Ah, it's been so fucking long. I just remember getting spoiled that the guy who murdered her was going to be the endgame. The rest of the details might be fuzzy, but that was the reason I dropped it.

I'm looking for a Webtoon and I even know it's name - I saw it on some YT short promotion. Apparently it goes by titles like "World's Strongest Straight Punch", "World's Strongest Regime", or "Conquering the World with a Single Punch", if I didn't get them wrong. None of these titles can be found here, so it could be it's not on here, but maybe they simply used yet another alternative title that I have not been able to find.
Does anybody know? Or where I could read it, if it's not on Mangago?

This manhwa is insanely new, releasing last month and has only 6 chapters! It isn’t licensed in English and is only available on the Korean webtoon app! Its most likely you won’t see anything about it for another 1-2 months until it hits 20 chs or until English webtoon releases it

I originally dropped looking for stories like this one, but reading »Mercenary Enrollment« yesterday invigorated my feelings towards this certain trope. I'm talking about the »What if a trained soldier / assassin / hitman / mercenary / whatever was thrown into a peaceful environment, where nobody knows about his abilities and has to lead a normal life?«
It doesn't have to be exactly like that, but something similar would be nice. Action is a most in a way, I guess. My favorite Manga of all time (except for Jojo's, but Jojo's doesn't count, as it is above any kind of rankin; it is absolute) »Dendrobates« is also that kind of story. A japanese kid, growing up in one of the worst parts of colombia, becoming an ace sicario (colombian hitman) and returning to japan as an adult, to become a police officer to hide his second life as a hitman in the middle of Tokyo. Mercenary Enrollment was even set in Highschool. I dig that. But I initially gave up on this trope, because I did read it here and there, but every time it was simply disappointing. So, if anyone knows a story that takes this trope seriously, I would love to hear about it. Might be too much to ask for, though, as most authors seem to think this is a premise where you simply can't take the MC seriously, as they want to have their cake and eat it, too (which means, in this case, they want a fun teenage story, but they also want to show a hardened soldier type of character at the age of 17 and I guess you know how that is a problem. You may to it, but it always seem like a parody instead of an earnest story).
So ... that's about it. Any ideas ...?

not entirely sure if this is exactly what you're looking for but i can think of,

http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/the_descent_of_the_demonic_master/ > cripple first life, demonic master second life, ordinary person third life; trying to live a normal life whilst holding all the experience he has in his past life

http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/black_haze/ > strongest mage thrown into high school whilst hiding his identity (10/10 recommend)

http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/master_of_gu/ > god in his past life, reborn & has all his powers still, hiding his identity while gaining more power

http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/the_world_is_money_and_power/ > delinquent (no clue what his identity is) that enrolls in a gambling school not to gain power but justice

Demonic Master is good, but that one I already read. Master of Gu was something I had on my list, but I didn't really check what it was about, so it's interesting if it actually fits the criteria. Black Haze seems to be pretty much what I'm looking for, I guess that's what I will be reading next. The last one, I would have to check out, don't know if it's going to be interesting to me.
Anyway, thank you very much! :D

if you end up reading master of gu, i have to warn you; while it IS a good story, most of the characters there are dumb, like real dumb. it felt as though the author put no effort into making the characters, but it is refreshing to see a villain mc that does work. on the other hand, you will not be disappointed with black haze, it's one of the best action webtoons out there imo

I'm really getting my hopes up for Black Haze, ngl xD
And okay, thanks for the warning. Welp. I mean, I read stories with really braindead characters before, it's sometimes a little stressful to read, depending on how it plays out. But I guess I'm gonna see what happens. Can't be more than infuriating and in the worst case, I'm just gonna drop it.
    Thanks again :D
