maybe it’s a little too optimistic in how all her characters stories seem to live in a universe where homophobia doesn’t exist (or at least doesn’t exist as harshly) but it’s nice to see how nonchalant everyone is about them and akira and all the others in her other stories too. but i also appreciate it a lot because it tends to get tiring when that’s the main point of conflict over and over. wish it was like that in real life…
honestly would rather read/watch stuff like that because 1.it shows how easy it is not to be homophobic 2. they don't use the same homophobia tropes over & over & over again 3. it shows how easy it is not to be homophobic
