I do agree it’s wrong to upload over someone who is consistently uploading it takes a lot of time and effort and they are doing it for free for the culture.
On the other hand if there is a lack of consistency and they are not prioritizing the project and someone else is willing and able to upload a quality scan the ╮(￣▽￣)╭
As a former cleaner and proof reader I know how petty and his scan teams get and sometimes they be dragging it like we are not all just trying to indulge in this delectable illegal foreign contraband and culture
If someone is uploading official shit they have purchased already localized cleaned and translated work…. It’s nice but less nice than the labor of love scan teams put in. I also feel like scan teams often localize better than most official trans because they don’t have to be pc and certain phrases don’t need to be localized.
My point we should support value and cherish both scan teams and official uploaders …but mostly scan teams because they gon come through whether its available officially or not I hate when readers are disrespectful complaining gutter rats that bite the hands that feed them we should just let mom and dad fight and eat our food (that applies to the triggered punks that can’t take a story that contains sensitive and/or mature content)
I see where you're coming from. But kaoru had previously put up a notice that officials were coming. Dv hyung posted fan translations AFTER the notice. But kaoru has already stated they don't mind people uploading fan translations. It's not a big deal for both to be uploaded. Kaoru is very consistent with their uploads. The reason they haven't been uploading this one, is because the officials for English haven't come out yet. They said as soon as the officials are released, they will then upload them. I just think dv Hyung went a little overboard saying kaoru threatened them, when kaoru was just stating officials were coming out soon and not to upload the OFFICALS over them, they don't mind fan translations.

Most scan teams know to drop something when it has an official or to let the officials be uploaded along side, because they can co-exist.
If you can’t handle this basic knowledge maybe it’s safe to say you shouldn’t bother uploading your scans on a site where officials are uploaded with scans.
Alot of people in this comment section were also having a difficult time reading the fan translations so they’re hyped for the officials in which might I add, will be further ahead than the fans so there's truly no point in translating this.
On the other note to what I said above,
Just because someone put a notice up for the officials doesn’t give you a right to be a melodramatic child and say someone threatened you when they didn’t do anything wrong.
I’ve been a translator and uploader for 3 1/2 years now and never would I ever have acted like this.
I agree that most teams will drop once off comes out it depends I guess. there is definitely no point if the officials are further along and also if there is an issue with quality and I think that perhaps I was not clear but I guess I’ll paraphrase it to say.
Scanners and uploaders are doing us readers a favor and service that’s not as simple as it may appear to be for free because they want to share with others stories they love, and imo I think it’s rude out of line for readers to be disrespectful towards scanners and uploaded and the mangaka for that matter and that readers should not attack “bad” scans from ppl just doing their best to eagerly share. I also think it’s fd up to threaten someone and the person said they were then I saw a notice about someone dismissing the person who claims they were threatened and upset and so I made my post based off of this and the comment section.
I did not associate the threat with the scanner.

Mainly talking shit about their quality and that readers were getting involved in scanner’s business which I discourage Which is why my title is directed toward readers.
