Get rid of all distractions? If something like your phone is a distraction then there is this lovely app where you put a timer on to plant a tree and if you open up your phone then the tree dies. The app claims that for every couple trees you plant they’ll plant a tree in real life. (I don’t exactly know how that works and I haven’t looked into it but it’s still a good app)

Make daily planning instead of a week planning divide everything in small sections( instead of read chapter 3, read 3.1 3.2 3.3) when you actually done it you feel accomplished. It worked for me! And yea just clean your desk with only things you need. Dont take breaks! ( i know people recommended breaks of like 5 minutes) but it better to stay focused and go on and then take a well deserved break. Reward yourself! If I finish this assignment i can watch the next episode of my series tonight/ take a piece of cake / buy something online.those are my tipss

u should follow the advices above thats what i did when i was on high school. rn im doing the worst thing possible: leave everything for the last minute, then get stressed and overwork urself in order to do it on time. no breaks found. when i finish im mentally dead :') <---do not do it.

how many mistakes can i make???????(and thats how my essays end up, a complete mess)

as a previously hUGe procrastinator I can relate w you soo much lol. Planning and everything is good but when it comes down to it you just have to kick your own ass. Set goals and hold yourself accountable. And make sure the goals you make are realistic. Like say you make a goal to finish an assignment in 45 mins. Set a timer and by the end of 45 mins you should be done! If ur not just move on to the next and do it later. A lot of times what happens for me is if I don’t finish my assignment I’ll just laze around and let the time pass by, but then later on it just means I have to rush and stress more.
Also always be aware of how much time it takes you to finish things. If it’s been 2 hours and you’ve only completed 50% of the work, you should be done in the next two hours.

Oh and also another thing that helps me a lot is having somebody else in the room with me. It’s easy to procrastinate when I’m alone but when you have somebody who you know will hold u accountable (a sibling, a friend, a classmate, etc) you’ll feel pressured to keep going. It’s better if it’s a school friend bc then you both can be productive and motivate each other. Just make sure it’s a friend you can study with and not one you’ll just goof off with. Don’t have any friends like that? Go to a coffee shop. A lot of people just sit in the tables and work so you’ll be in that working atmosphere. Also a plus is coffee anytime you want!
