Please dont confirm or deny but
My hypothesis as of ch 84(building since the smoke room chapter) Katerina is Adeline in disguise.
Which is why she scared Dillon.
With only reading up to chapter 84 - did Adelone rebirth as well with knowledge of her past and changed her future?
Like there is more to the "novel" beyond what Dillon remembers/even read?
Like i said please dont spoil this is just a thought i needed to get out.
Abusers are never abusive from the start. I'm thankful that so many have never been in this situation but before you judge the MC, you should learn about how abusers basically train - aka manipulate - their victims to blame themselves for how they are treated.
Most victims of abuse, before they met their abuser, also said "I'd never stay" or "why did they stay so long".
Their abusers love bomb, dig out our insecurities, and once their claws are in they start testing and breaking down our boundaries. Using our insecurities againist us. Weakening our dignity, self respectful, tolerance, and more.
They push us till we feel trapped, like we deserve this treatment, and we convince ourselves that with patience and love they will go back to the person they were. That they can change for the better.
And why wouldn't we? They changed before? Why not again?
The MC is a victim. He isn't stupid.
We all could easily find ourselves in an abusive relationship.

I do think it is the Teach who killed his dad, not Guwon. Or even if Guwon did then his dad wasnt his "dad" anymore. Idk if zombie or whay is going on lmao.
Yep but Yk people love to blame shit and rather say someone else is a black flag to early
Guwon is definitely a black flag whether he killed Jinwoo‘s father or not. In the world they live in their relationship will never be healthy and Guwon will always be extremely violent. It doesn’t make him a bad character, just extremely morally grey until we get more information. That’s what makes the story interesting!
Honestly Guwon could had easily killed the dad and definitely has some f*cked background to justify his whacko but I feel like it would be more interesting if Teach killed his dad. Couldn't handle it and got a psych break. It would be interesting to see his moral compass be challenged by the revelation. I dont think how Guwon runs the town is completely fair but will killing him really solve their problems or create worse? I dont the author will kill him off but it would be interesting if they did.
Even if they "killed" him, see how the town goes, then bring him back for more drama would be fun.
