I believe I hate read this story as I was annoyed with both Alpha and Omega, but for different reasons.
Alpha: In what world does forcefully restraining someone, even in a posh apartment, endear them to you?? Also, you're the ONLY one to smell a broken omega's pheromones, but you don't get yourself checked out with a doctor to make sure there isn't anything wrong with you. Your room of murder (hunting trophies) isn't a turn on to anybody who isn't you. Where did this fight against the matching system arise?? Did you fake a problem to reunite with your mate?? Suspicious.
Omega: You are forced to work for you half-brother as his secretary/punch bag, but that doesn't mean you should be a punching bag for others. You didn't learn any means of self-defense nor do you carry a stun gun despite knowing the crowd your brother hangs around with?? So you finally got away from your possessive alpha, but did you have to call and mock him one more time -- potentially revealing your location?? Sheesh. Also, telling him about his feelings instead of letting him figure them out himself won't feel earned when he repeats the words, you desperately want to hear, back to you. Lastly, where the heck have you been working to pay for your runaway lifestyle??
The Story: I like you. You smell good. Sex. Drama. I love you. I don't believe in love. Sex. Drama. I now believe in love. I never stopped loving you. The End. ☹
I think the one part I truly enjoyed was watching the Alpha bust into that sex party with his guns blazing to rescue the Omega.
Rating: 1.75 stars. Also, I ended up reading this story on another page due to the shoddy upload here of missing panels or panels overlapping each other. Not that it made the story better, but I wanted to be sure this story was mediocre.
This is the same old Alpha & Omega nonsense that has been plaguing the A/O verse since its inception. Rape and forced breeding. Only the backdrop has changed to a semi-gritty underworld of drugs and money. I should have dropped it at the first act of rape, but I had hoped it would get better or be as interesting as the first few chapters. HA! NOPE!!
The story is boring despite having an opposing mafia group setting. No real sense of danger, intrigue, or betrayal to liven up the plot. ML1 is the head (??) or area boss of his organization, but also a dominant Alpha. ML2 is a scared Omega forced to make drugs. And that's it. Nothing really develops between them. Nothing!!
ML1A rapes ML2O. ML2O tries to appease ML1A to save his life by doing or creating anything ML1A needs or wants to stay alive. ML2A rapes and threatens. ML2O runs back to his previous organization to save the lives of his loved ones only to be retrieved by ML1A for more rape, but this time with impregnating ML2O as a bonus. And that's the bare bones of that "relationship". There is no love!! There is only ownership: trading one abusive owner with a short chain for another abusive owner with a longer one, but knowing you're still in bondage.
I wish authors would stop equating rape and trauma as a love story. It's despicable!! Story rating: 1-star!!
I really tried to like this one more than I did given some of the earlier positive reviews, but, honestly, reading this got tiring. I felt bad for the guide (ML2), because despite his esper (ML1) treating him like a disease he really cared about him. And, yes, as you read the story we find out that ML1 has always been in love with ML2. However the frequent hits with amnesia kinda ruined it for me. I could deal with just the initial memory loss as it made ML1 more open and honest about his feelings, which in turned helped ML2 be truthful about his too. But the subsequent memory losses were unneeded and weighed down the plot with forced drama. Just like having ML2 go off to Busan to attempt to be with another esper. Unnecessary added drama. They're already dealing with memory issues and awakened feelings -- that other stuff: no bueno!!
I think after the first memory loss and regaining those memories plus the new ones created with his guide, I was hoping that ML1 would have an intense mind battle against himself to see who would remain the dominant personality. (But I think they kinda merged in the end.)
Also was it ever revealed, as I may have read over it, why ML1 heard his guide's voice warning him before the building exploded??
I think the one thing I really enjoyed about this manhwa was how ML1 and others kept distracting ML2 with food when they didn't want to discuss stuff anymore or to lure him away from where he's going or meant to be. LOL!!
Anyhoo...final results: 2.75 Stars.
This was so cute in the beginning and the mystery behind Aileen and Miso's connection kept my attention. But soon the fake-outs began, I counted at least 3 or 4 times where this story could have ended properly, but instead it has continued to drag on unnecessarily. I started to skip chapters after the 2 battles with the Stargazer. I kept hoping an ending was in sight, but, alas, it has alluded me. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Also, I'm tired of these false villain families that aren't really villainous. One wild child or sibling does not equate a villainess family. I wanted to see some villainous actions from this family to earn that title.
This started off so good, but then it went into a weird savior direction. Only MC can save everybody!! None of those other hunters who've been training to handle dungeons. I get that ultimately MC will save the world, but does he have to raid every dungeon himself?? His team, trained by him, should also have the power, when grouped with other teams to handle the higher level dungeons before they break.
Anyway, it started getting boring as the story kept adding ridiculous side quests instead of focusing on the main theme. I paused at 184 and skipped to the end; happy to say my original guess about MC and his abilities was proven right. I'll come back to fill in my missing holes later. As for now: Rating 3-stars.
This was good. No stagnation yearning here, which is awesome!! ML1 made a move to bring his yearning to fruition, but sadly did not communicate his plan to ML2, so he lost some years being with him.
But I'm mostly proud of ML2. When it appeared that the object of his crush was not going to reciprocate his feelings he moved on with his life. He distanced himself, made new friends, got a job, and even had a relationship with other men. He still held his crush in his heart, hence the plot, but he wasn't stuck in the past unable to move forward like so many other characters who have crushes or yearn to be with another.
I also appreciated that after they reunited for the second time, after the trip, ML1 confessed his whole plan, thinking process, and reasoning to ML2. Moreover, ML2 did not lead ML1 on, but instead properly confessed and reaffirmed his feelings for him. No unnecessary prolonged suffering. 3.75 Stars!!
Side Note: So did ML1's plan actually work??
Typical wealthy Alpha; Innocent clueless Omega. Brought together by half-truths and lies. While the Omega is innocent he isn't a doormat, which I appreciate. He was able to break free from the Alpha and smartly thwart the endless people sent out to recapture him. It would have been awesome to see more of the Omega surviving in the woods than what we got to see. And I was half hoping he would already be in labor, or the baby born, before the Alpha found him again.
Did the Alpha repent?? Was he truly in love with the Omega?? I felt his emotional turn around happened way too fast for me.
Anyhoo, their wedding clothes were horrible, especially for a wealthy Alpha. And their baby...yeah, that was definitely something to see. Do BL authors only know how to draw pretty men?? ╥﹏╥ Story: 3-stars.
So many misunderstandings and missed opportunities to be honest with each other. So annoying!!
But the worst part is the author has added one of my least favorite tropes to this story: stagnant yearning. I absolutely hate that Yeon-G just circled around Eihwa even after HS. He didn't try to find his own group of friends, didn't even try to seek out any other romantic relationships, or at least attempt going to gay clubs. All he did was whine about his doomed crush. Yearned and whined while not doing anything to change the situation!! He always talked about changing, but he still ran to Eihwa the minute he was summoned. Like a good puppy. Blech!! And, yes, I know he tried being with that Sak guy, but that wasn't a true attempt -- it was just smoke. They didn't really date or try to get to know each other. The author was setting Sak up to be a jerk only interested in sex. This kept YG yearning and afraid of intimacy with another person who wasn't his crush. Back to stagnation. Auugghh!!
We finally get some traction when YG moves to the US, but, again, he's doing nothing but yearning from afar. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ Why move to abroad if you're not even going to try to change yourself?! The point of going to a new place where nobody knows you is to reinvent yourself and try new experiences. But that won't happen until he removes his Eihwa-glasses. But the author won't let him even attempt to have a life that doesn't revolve around Eihwa. Even his piano friend is forcing him back into that Eihwa orbit.
This story needs serious growth from both of them, but mostly YG, before they reach their HEA ending.
It's cute, but I wonder why Jeongseo's classmates didn't mention the fact the he does indeed change fur/hair color during the winter months?? Or are they on winter break during this time??
As for Yoontae, it's nice to see a wealthy ML who isn't a complete douchebag and someone who doesn't toss money/power around to show his status. Although he does use his family's status to have people investigated, but that's part to be expected.
Looking forward to Jeongseo's wintercoat coming in and Yoontae's reaction. I predict some drama is heading their way.
To use an older adage from my days: PWP -- Plot? What plot?? That sums up this manhwa. It is nothing but endless sex scene after endless sex scene. Even when the plot tries to form a sex scene quickly takes over the narrative depriving the reader of anything worthy to read. It was a complete waste of my time and I wished I had dropped it before I got to the ending. 1-star.
MY Main Issues:
-- Thinking you're in love: a client & call boy spending no time together other than having sex. (The dates came later after the proclamation.)
-- Omega not resolving his issues with his 2nd gender.
-- Alpha not learning anything more about the 2nd genders. (I'm sure he was in rut a couple of times, too.)
-- Alpha not resolving his issues with his family: father & brother.
-- Maintaining a friendship with your husband's former sex friend/rent boy. (Weird!!)
-- No true antagonist in this story. (Removed for more sex!!) -_-
-- Side stories not showing secondary family's interaction with the children. (Petty, I know!!)
It's my 3rd time rereading this story and this time around I was paying much more attention to the background characters and the expressions they make are hilarious. I especially love Marc's face when the Emperor or Empress either exchange affection or plot something diabolical. ⊙_⊙ LOL!!
Later chapters: Why turn down the offer Sing?? I miss seeing the fullness of your handsome face.

Honestly, Reina shouldn't have been too greedy otherwise she wouldn't have ended up as the villainess in this story. Wanting to be adopted by a good family, wanting wealth, and power is fine, but Reina got too greedy (wanting to be loved by everyone!!) and it ultimately is leading toward her downfall. More importantly, if she had truly loved Ethel and wanted to be a true family with her, she shouldn't have allowed her brother to treat his wife like air. Also, if she had just let Ethel and the mine go after the divorce her schemes would have never been discovered. Reina had plenty of other ways to make money due her regression -- not letting the mine go is what caused Ethel to dig deeper into her obsession with it and with her.
I like the FL, Ethel, as she is feisty and not afraid to show her mind (quick witted) or say what is on her mind. She's not another pretty face in an iskei novel bent on following the plot. Her biggest downfall is she's trapped in this novel with an abysmal plot. Aside from the divorce and the entrapment of Elliott the rest of this story is boring, predictable, and rehashable mid-boss moments leading up the final boss.
As for the ML -- in the beginning he seemed like his wicked villain persona, but as the story progressed he began to appear just as weak as FL's ex-husband. No wickedness at all. He uses his brain somewhat but I can't get behind his diluted new self.
Story: 2-stars.
