There dad wasn't shit. Even if he couldn't contact Yoonseol while he was a kid he could of done it after. At the start of the story HES 29 so that means the dad HAD 11 YEARS where he could of reached out and tried to be a good father. And don't get me started on him leaving him the origami book that shit would of made me crash put like no tomorrow. To top it off he wanted him to be the chief mourner with Suk yunand have those people ask who he even was so obviously he never told and of his friend he had another kid.
Also as much as I don't like Suk Yun the dad was also kinda shitty to him to and indirectly made be "perfect" and have to deal with Yoonseol messing with him as kids. And to send Suk Yun to gis party to tell him happy birthday knowing thay dont like each other is a whole other level of fucked. Like at that point shoulda not said shit and honestly i would have been fine. That's just fucked up he's a shitty father and honestly I'm glad he died caus that's all he deserved after all the bullshit he caused.
You summed everything up perfectly. The dad made me soooo angry, blaming his ex wife for not contacting his son is so pathetic. If he wanted, he could have sent letters or anything. He’s just a shitty father and I’m glad he died idc. (I’m saying this as someone whose dad died of cancer btw lmao). Kind of sounds like his bad behavior caught up to him.
Also the mom tbh, she just allows the father to create this nasty competition between the two kids. They were all shitty parents.
Jungsoo and Yoonseul were really the only thing that kept me reading. I hated how toxic the first couple was. Yeah it did suck for Suk Yun but he was such a bad partner, so freaking violent that I just skipped all their scenes tbh. And then it annoyed me how Woo In kept the brother stuff quiet even though he KNEW Suk Yun disliked it. Still no excuse for how Suk Yun reacted tho. I disliked him A LOT.
