So I remember reading this years ago and coming back occasionally wondering when this would finish. It looks like it’s completed with 156 chapters. But ngl that ending made me SICK.

So I skipped to the last two chapters and for whatever reason it looks like the MC is somehow blind now. MC and blondie get into a car accident, and he protects her. This is the second to last chapter. The final chapter is confusing, feels rushed, etc. Looks like MC and dark haired guy is married but heavily implied that blondie DIED from the car accident. He shielded the MC in that accident and MC got her sight back because his eyes were donated to her. So author basically set him up to die so she can see again TF. FOR WHAT REASON?? Literally everything was perfectly fine and the trio was chilling leading up to the ending chapters. But author suddenly threw in a random car accident and killed off the character. Even the Chinese readers were confused and called out how rushed and crappy that is.
Anyways in the final chapter, it’s just about dark hair and mc being together and there’s pictures on the wall in their house. There’s on picture of their wedding day and you see that they left a space for the missing blondie. The final chapters were so unnecessary. It didn’t even show them being able to grieve his death or no authors note for an explanation.
