Okay so I checked the novel spoilers and it looks like they changed a lot, especially for the ending of this season. Lots of parts are either rearranged or completely excluded like conversations at the banquet with Duke pos, the Queen was supposed to find out that FL is a spy AT the banquet in a conversation with Duke Krost/the dad: which is why the king in the manhwa mentions they’re having a secret rendezvous, it would make sense if they included that scene of the two talking by themselves. And FL is supposed to spot the mother/wife of Duke krost sneaking into the banquet as a maid and going after her to talk, having an entire conversation of the mother saying what FL’s actual identity is and how she regretted having her, and then FL being kidnapped by Duke pos and being brought to a different location, The dad finding her AND THEN he gets stabbed by the wife.
Theres a lot left out which is why it may feel rushed in the latest part of the manhwa. I guess they wanted a big dramatic cliff hanger for the end of the season. The question is how they’re gonna rearrange and include the rest of those scenes if the dad is already stabbed before any of that happened.
Imma need the 2nd ML to get a story of his own with someone else- I don’t think he’s a good match with the FL here, and I don’t want his face card to be wasted as a side character

Hope this is one of those stories where the author gives him his own relationship- but I don’t have high hopes considering their last work also being a love triangle and that not happening
I’m gonna be so fr, I don’t give af about ANY of the villagers whatsoever. (Except for the kids). From the moment they decided to plot and try to kill guwon, I was never on their side. It was always such a stupid plan. They fr thought they had the ability to beat the hounds who are trained to skillfully kill EVERY DAY. They thought killing the leader would solve everything- but it obviously made it worse since the leader was the one holding them back.
I also think that the villagers have always been very hypocritical. Of course the hounds and guwon have cruel/merciless behavior- but for all of the villagers to have zero guilt casually plotting their deaths makes me certain that their mentality is not that different from them. The reason all of them are alive in the first place is because of the hounds/guwon. They didn’t want to do the work in making their own safe place but wanted to take over their area instead. None of these villagers have the skills to kill zombies, fight against other towns, scavenge food, supplies, etc. They had the leisure to hate the hounds/guwon for not liking how they rule things, but also enjoying the safety within the walls and the items they receive from them.
In my opinion, I hate the villagers more than the hounds as characters- because at least the hounds openly show how cruel they are and are aware of it. The villagers on the other hand act like they’re some heroes of justice, and don’t realize how dumb and similar they really are. Honestly I wish that the hounds and guwon just kicked out all of the villagers and let them fend for themselves. See how long that lasts LMAO.

Anyways people are wondering why people are siding with ML. Personally, to me, I’ve already seen the ML has been the one chasing her the entire time, them getting close and getting into a relationship for the first time was basically all due to his efforts, and her receiving that affection. Then he has to chase her yet again. And she knows she wants him, she gets jealous when he speaks to a coworker, she wants him to continue chasing and wooing her- while also trying to push him away to teach him a lesson. She’s aware she expects him to do the work and message her. She pulls a random guy outside knowing and trying to make him jealous similar to how they did that with the exbf.
Tbh that just sounds so tiring. If I were him I would think she’s playing hot and cold/push and pull tactic. It would feel like that’s how the relationship would always feel: one gives and one takes.
I forgot the name of a BL historical manhwa I read. The mc/bottom is not human, I think he was a god or something and the ML/top is a human emperor. The ML hates anything to do with the gods/religion. He hates even the mention of them. The ML basically has lots of female concubines and he also does sleep with them, even having a child with one of them. MC and ML get into a sort of relationship. There’s an ex that ML loved who was a man and I think he died in a war. I remember at the end of the season the ML gets into a fight and becomes cold to MC, and the mc leaves the palace because he has finished his job? The spoilers said that the plot twist is that the ex was actually mc’s past life, he just didn’t remember it
Bruhhh you mean to tell me the artist chose to change the hair color of the ML?? I never understood the whole “same hair color=siblings” thing. We could’ve had a red head couple. And the thing is the two red colors were COMPLTELY DIFFERENT. The FL’s hair was more ginger/orangeish and the ML’s hair in the novel was closer to a pale regular red. The artist could’ve done completely different tones but they decided to go with the basic black hair. We could’ve had a rare red hair ML

That last chapter was weird. It would have been better if he immediately apologized and looked regretful as soon as she confronted him. But the whole scene of him deflecting and arguing back like it didn’t matter that he lied to her more than once felt off. Like out of character. It’s like his body was possessed by a shitty gaslighting bf and then reverted back to his usual self. I don’t know why that was included because the resolution was not good enough to soothe it over after that argument
I saw a post on social media, where they find out she’s a girl. I do hope just because they know she’s a girl they don’t completely switch up her style and grow out her hair. I think the tomboyish clothing is cute. I don’t want it to be like those obsessively doting families where they suddenly treat her like a little princess

Crazyyy how he switched up. I was actually amazed he loved her enough to want to follow her into her world- only for it to end up like this. He liked even her terrible side before this. Even in the novel’s initial ending where he has to divorce her, he still loved her and didn’t harm her even when he was frustrated and mad at her. He even was portrayed to feel empty when they were separated (though he eventually fell for his new wife). It seems that not only did the manhwa change his ending, they made him worse in the end. The only thing that I think is a shame is since they changed his ending, we never got to see his kind new wife that made him fall in love.

Anyways I haven’t actually read majority of the manhwa side stories. So I’m going based off of what I remember in the manhwa main story. (Please inform me if they did add some stuff in the manhwa). The royals weren’t that big of characters they hardly dealt with any matters of the duke’s situation with Edith being accused. They only got involved when evil lise tried to trick them which made them punish her themselves. The princess did not have much screentime and there was no romance story about the princess in the novel. They also seemed to let the parents off more easily compared to the novel that made them suffer. Since lise got to stay married to cliff and stayed at the duke’s house, they all suffered due to her spending habits. Those parents still liked the evil lise and that’s why I think they should’ve suffered more. (Btw in the novel the OGlise never existed, the only lise shown was the evil one. They have the oglise gain sentience in the manhwa.) This is one of those manhwa’s where they changed A LOT of the story towards the end.

Her original appearance is pretty, I think it suits her more than selonia’s appearance.
Anyways onto the topic of how she treats the brainwashed dudes coldly, she’s valid. The damage has been done, they simply should move on. A single woman being their sole priority who isn’t even their lover, wasn’t healthy in the first place. I will say I’m impressed by the progression of the brainwashing. In the early chapters it showed they only got upset when grace was mentioned but had their original personalities outside of that, like blue hair guy feeling guilty and still nice, and dragon guy still being a chill dude. But as time went on their behavior got worse and they no longer held those personalities.
I will say though, I do think the brainwashing worked to an extent. Like I said their original personalities still existed, they didn’t completely disappear. So some parts of their behavior was how they truly felt. Like the blonde guy, it’s obvious his personality has always been arrogant and looked down on others, it showed his true thoughts. There wasn’t an ounce of kindness he had for her.
Okay so I just started reading, and I know their relationship changes for the better since I already looked ahead and saw several spoilers of this manhwa online- but ngl the FL annoys me in the beginning. Don’t get me wrong, I like how she acts around the 3 guys that turned on her (yes I know the truth), but I don’t particularly like how she treats the ML. It feels pretty hypocritical.
Like at first meeting, she chose to stab and kill the guy who turned into a human appearance. He saves her life later, but instead of thanking him, she immediately wants to kick him out because of her fear. When he suggests killing the ogML she thinks “how could he think something so inhumane” despite her being the first to try and kill what looked like a human being, but even the leader of that guild suggested the same thing but she took it much more lightly. She also immediately made him the villain in her head when the fight happened with the captain of the knights, despite him telling her what happened.
He hasn’t harmed anyone innocent after getting amnesia, and his rude behavior was mainly him returning the energy she gave to him first. It’s just annoying because she knows she’s not even from that world, and that there’s more to the world that isn’t part of the lines in the story- yet she doesn’t think enough that maybe he isn’t like how the portrayed him to be. Literally if anyone knew she wasn’t the og Selonia, people would’ve treated her as some demon that took over a person’s body. What makes her different from him and his circumstances?

Anyways I know already their relationship will become sweet and better, I just hope the FL changes her mindset a lot and realize she’s not really a better person for judging so soon. It’s a little off putting that the ML already seems to be the one to initiate their change in relationship like she’s his savior despite being the person who put him in so much pain in the first place.

Okay thankfully it stopped in chapter 23. She apologized and realized she was wrong and acted nice from then on.
Crazy how the age plays such a big difference. It still makes me wonder why exactly woojin didn’t turn out that way even when he’s younger than haekyung. Like the reality that he let haekyung go and be with other people, while he also tried to move on. (Since there’s plenty of stories where the top is younger and still does all that)
Maybe it’s because of that event where he saw haekyung’s nose bleed in front of him? Did that change his thought process that haekyung could be suffering with the situation and that’s why he let him go?

I can see why other people hated it, but like another person already mentioned, the author’s writing was pretty well done including the circumstances of how different it would be and how their mentality would be different. The commenter mentioned how haekyung is more naive because he’s younger. And how the commenter said that the author made the difference in their personalities actually being changed due to age, compared to other authors who tried age reversal and their personalities are the exact same

So I just finished the manhwa, and I was surprised cause I actually started reading yuri’s story first and then switched to reading this one. I was surprised to see that yuri’s role in the story didn’t seem that big to me. He didn’t have much screen-time as I thought he would and was hardly even a love rival. I actually liked this story. The story does not display a healthy relationship on both sides btw for any new readers judging whether to read.
I’m surprised the comments are mainly negative, since this definitely is not the worst story I’ve read, there’s more popular BL manhwas on the front page that have worse plot than this.

WHO’S IN THE WRONG? The top or bottom:
I’ll point out some things, people seem to mainly be upset at the top (lerusha) for the way he acted. Of course he had his frustrating moments where he acted like a brat that didn’t listen. But let’s point out the facts, lerusha did not actually do the worst things in their relationship. The mc/bottom (alexei/alyosha) beat him nearly to death which required him to be hospitalized for 6 months at the age of 13 and he also did suffocate, confine, and rape the top.
That’s something a lot of people who are hating on the top, are purposefully avoiding mentioning. Now of course he had his reasons for doing all that because he wanted to protect him from the gang leader who’d kill him as soon as he got a hold of his weakness (though the rape actually wasn’t necessary imo).

Moving onto the TOP’S ACTIONS:
So part of the reason why readers mainly hate on the top is because they know the reasons why the bottom did all that and know that everything he did is for him. However he didn’t know that. So the top has resentment towards him for not telling him anything about what’s been going on, why he beat him nearly to death, etc. and treats him coldly like a rebellious teenager wanting to ignore and leave home. He also has taken an omega’s side over the mc, more than once. The final part is when he helped the omega escape and separated from the mc at that time.

Those are all the reasons those readers hate the top. Don’t get me wrong, the top was so frustrating and it was sad seeing him take another’s side other than the mc. But I feel like most of these readers being biased are only that way because we’re viewing the story from his POV. Cause let’s face it, if the ROLES WERE REVERSED, people would think the mc is a scumbag. Like an alpha top beating the bottom up as a child, confining, putting chains on their legs, and raping them. They wouldn’t care if the top had his reasons like protecting the bottom.
