Yknow there’s another story similar to this premise but it came before this. I forgot if it was a manhwa or colored manga (plus I forgot the name).
But I remember liking that story more. Basically the plot was the FL was executed by her lover, the emperor. And she reincarnated as the daughter of her ex lover and his mistress. So the whole story is a revenge plot against them, and bringing them down. It was satisfying compared to this story, which feels like they’ll redeem the emperor just to have that father daughter connection

It’s annoying cause that dude isn’t a good person no matter what. If you have to put in so much work just for HIM to become a better person, he would’ve continued being terrible regardless.
Well looking at the second story, it looks like FL cared a lot about Juhwan, to the point she named her child the same name. Apparently the ending for juhwan (not the son) isn’t good ;-;
On another note, I don’t like the sister at all. Like FL confessed and said she had a crush on the guy, then right after she tells FL while smiling and blushing that she’s getting married to the man she likes. TF?? Sure the sister liked him too (though she never confessed beforehand) but the sister is so aware that the two of them like each other. She was the first to notice how he was towards FL. And yet she’s all shy and happy at the thought she’ll have a baby with the man. GTFO.
I get why FL can’t stand her family. Hell all the damn parents are shit. FL’s dad is self explanatory. The ML’s mom and dad are both assholes who also don’t care for their child’s opinion. The FL’s mom said they’ll go to her entrance ceremony even if it’s late- SIKE she did a little apology later that they couldn’t go cause they were ofc staying forever for the sister’s wedding. The only one that actually asked anyone for their opinion was the grandpa that set everything up in the first place. He said he wanted to see the ML get married but gave him a chance, asking him what he thought, if he didn’t want to do it. Guess ML was weak and wanted to give his grandpa his wish before he passed.

Anyways so far it looks like FL has resolved herself saying she doesn’t like ML anymore and is leaning towards liking Juhwan now.
I checked up on this story after so long and no way the disciple defenders are STILL here to this day. These disciples are freaking insane and have no guilt for killing and harming people to get their way. I still do not understand why ppl blame the FL. Their insane behavior is cause by themselves, not the FL. I feel like those bashing the FL and supporting the disciples have read way too many fictional stories to the point that they think this obsessive behavior is NORMAL.
No. You know what a normal reaction would be for “abandonment.” Here’s a prime example of a mother abandoning her biological child in REAL LIFE: the child would either resent the mother, possibly want the worst for her. Or feel sad at not being wanted. Or be indifferent and not care. At most, the action of searching for their mother would always either end in happiness, disappointment, or anger. But no child or adult would obsess over the person they got abandoned by, stalking them, forcing their way into their mother’s life. Most would find out the truth and leave the mother alone.
Another example is: Would any of you seriously be obsessed with your nice middle school teacher, assume that teacher raised you just cause they taught you lessons at school, and then stalk them to their house and stick to them?

Anyways at the end of the day, her feelings for those disciples don’t go beyond students. She never thought of them as her damn kids. She didn’t change their diapers and hand feed them. She taught them about magic and provided a sponsorship opportunity. Claude on the other hand, she raised the child not as a teacher but a nanny, like an aunt. The child of her beloved friend. I don’t get how ppl are shocked and confused in her behavior. Yall who are upset, are the ones who labeled her as some “kind motherly figure.” Assuming she’d be like that to anyone and everyone. Idk I think the wrong audience reached this story. The kinds of readers who have some sort of strong maternal feelings and want every kid to be treated the same and want the FL to be mother Mary.
This was an interesting read. I wasn’t bored while reading it. The art did go down in quality after the time skip though. And it did get rushed toward the end.
Maybe the novel has more details.
I wonder if it was cut short. Because there was a lot of things I felt didn’t have much backstory or point. Like Royan, the brother suddenly hating the princess. He liked her and thought of her as his savior and he didn’t seem to hate her as a kid even up to the point he left. He also didn’t seem to hate her when he was talking to his father about the plan. His mood only seemed to switch when he reunited with her, and suddenly he showed that he was disgusted with her. It feels like we should’ve seen a scene where he found out all about how the princess truly was and how she was the one telling the emperor to do bad things to his family- but we didn’t get any of that scene so it feels like there’s a gap there.
Then there’s the thing with the magical aspect. We were introduced to the head of the mages and he was made to create an antidote but all of that was handled off screen. Same with the dress maker. All we got was “it was handled well” line, when I feel like it should’ve been bigger than that. Or how the FL was liked by the spirits and shown a dragon egg. The dragon was shown like 3 times and literally had no use. It just said the dragon slept all the time. Idk after the time skip, the story became super rushed and felt like they may have cut out a lot.
I wonder if there are side stories. I’ll check about the novel.
I remember seeing the raws a while ago and was so sad at who ended up with the black haired girl. She ended up with her crush (the shorter hair guy).
I felt like the other guy had so much chemistry with her and it felt more natural. The crush and her getting together felt so rushed and last minute.
I think ppl are being harsh. Sure I don’t think she should’ve run away that much in the later part, but it’s understandable that she’s was scared to be hurt. People are complaining saying “he already said no that he doesn’t like hazuki!” But it’s clear FL was uncomfortable with the whole situation. Heck I would’ve been bothered too, because it felt like he got defensive with that “so what if I did” line after she asked if he liked her before. It’s like seeing your crush look that bothered and upset over a girl from his past, makes it feel like he still has some unresolved feelings- cause in most cases a person wouldn’t still be that upset when facing their ex crush unless the ex crush did something terrible to them. Usually when someone has truly moved on, their behavior is indifference to that person, like chill and not caring and not being upset anymore.
He recognized it himself he did have unresolved feelings in a way- that hazuki was tied to his resentment towards his brother. So now he truly resolved it and can move on, no longer being upset.

Anyways on another note, I hate hazuki so bad lmfao. How is it that this mangaka always manages to make the most infuriating rival characters in their stories lol. For this one the 2nd ML was also annoying but at least he was straight up honest with both the FL and didn’t hide his hostility towards the ML. Hazuki on the other hand was fake as hell. Any girl that asks “can you help me?” Towards a girl who she clearly knows likes the same person, is fake af. She was so shady with constantly meeting up- and it’s honestly annoying the ML never knew any of what she did. It’s also annoying how the ML’s childhood friend didn’t know about the FL and hazuki situation either.
Bro I’m sad, I really wanted kameyama and mc to work out. It might just be because kameyama is my favorite character. He’s just got a cool “main character” kind of personality that I would’ve loved to have him be the center in any other story. Wish he’d get his own spinoff with his own partner.
Okay I’m seeing a concerning theme here. I get ppl not wanting the Ml to be her childhood friend cause of the kiss with her sister, I’d be on guard too. But yall are ignoring the bigger red flags here and focusing way too much on the FL’s unrequited love. It’s like you’re making the childhood friend kiss a criminal act compared to the blonde and sister which actually did a criminal act LMFAO.
Did yall forget the sister is an ADULT THAT KISSED A HIGHSCHOOLER?? I don’t think it said their ages but still yall don’t find that weird and are more mad at the childhood friend. Readers further ignore victims ig.
And here’s the bigger comparison between both love interests not being great:
I feel like you guys should notice the red flags from both guys. The issue is ofc her friend kissed her sister (though he’s not obligated to like FL back, he did ghost her that day and didn’t care). On the other hand there’s already multiple red flags for the blonde which you guys ignored. The story stated the blonde has been in college for 7 years and likely repeated cause of his laziness and being a playboy that switches girls a lot. So the age gap of 7 year senior + a fresh out of highschool FL is iffy (but she’s a fresh legal adult now ig). Plus he decided to kiss FL when he was very aware she’s super drunk. You guys would rather take the red flag dude over the dark haired guy because he doesn’t like FL back. Are yall genuinely okay?? Or do you guys enjoy ignoring SA for the sake of your ship and anger towards one dude that upset you
This story is a lot messier than I expected. I thought this was just gonna be a typical smut and things would quickly happen. No, there’s so much baggage and layers to the relationships. Mainly the trio of the black haired guy and his wife. I didn’t expect the black haired guy to have baggage and be more complex. I’m gonna call the black haired guy ML for now cause ngl I don’t even know if he’s the endgame ML.
If the translation is correct: it looks like ML and wife met in college. ML liked the blue haired girl’s friend. They initially all had no connection but the blue hair girl saw that ML liked her friend (cause she liked him and was looking at him, she was the one that noticed the feelings first). She told him she could help set them up with the wishful thinking he’d eventually fall for her instead. But the friend and ML got together and the blue haired girl backed off and didn’t contact them for years. The next time she saw the ML, he was all gloomy. She found out her friend ghosted and broke up with the ML. The ML had no idea why and was depressed. Turns out the friend had an illness and broke up with him, deciding not to tell him. She ended up passing away. The blue haired girl told him and he basically spiraled down even further, distraught. He truly loved the friend, like a typical romance story.
In the moment of his vulnerability and weakness the blue haired girl took advantage of it, saying she’ll comfort him and had sex with him. Right after that she LIED and said she was pregnant to sort of baby trap him. He took responsibility and decided to marry her. He was actually happy about the pregnancy because he thought this gave new meaning to his life(?) (Idk this part wasn’t clear, I think he thought like their baby would be some sort of reincarnation of the friend?? I could be wrong y’all, don’t quote me on this). So he’s desperate to have the baby. Anyways she said she miscarried. 2 years of marriage passed she lied and said she was pregnant again, only to say it miscarried again(?) She just wanted to have ML all to herself using the baby excuse.
So all these character have flaws, some bigger than others. I thought FL and her bf/fiance was the worst guys. But turns out blue haired girl isn’t so innocent. The complicated part is that they have good sides sometimes too.
MORE SPOILERS:
So FL recorded evidence of the blue haired girl confessing she lied about the pregnancies. And FL ended up telling and showing the ML the day he left the company. A little bit of time passed and ML contacted FL saying he’s gonna get a divorce with the reasoning of fraud, and that he wants her help as a witness. So far they have not done any affair btw. (FL basically was too scared and also felt bad after getting friendly with the wife, but she ultimately ended the friendship when she decided to tell the truth to ML and the wife found out her identity). Heck ML didn’t even look to have feelings for FL. It looks like they’re becoming closer now though, since his relationship with his wife is basically over and they’re going through this divorce.
On another note, there is one thing I hate. The author decided to show more scenes of the FL’s fiance cheating again. This time with a new woman that’s 40 year old divorcee, apparently was his previous client. Thing is she found out and realized he had a fiance, tried to reject him and cut things off- but her horny ass couldn’t resist and fucked him again in the car, accepting his advances along with eating out with him. Idk about the fiance, he seems into her, but he could just be doing the typical horn dog behavior. So the easy ass 40 yr old gave in even though she’s fully aware he has a fiance. I’m annoyed the author is giving them any screen time. Their parts aren’t even interesting compared to the other trio. I can see the 40 yr old similar to the Fl with the mistress thing but the difference between them is that the 40 yr actually went and did it, lied straight to FL’s face when FL confronted them, and doesn’t have any guilt towards her nor good reason to separate them since she’s mainly just horny and not in love so far.
Dang I was hoping for the big omega dude to actually have a platonic brother relationship with the mc. But nope we gotta go the typical “I’ve had secretive feelings for you.” way. I was hoping he’d be like a side couple bottom, but maybe the author is only into small bottoms
Do people not read descriptions anymore? How is it a love triangle or hexagon. Title doesn’t always mean it’s the entire plot.
The description already said MC and his bf will break up and that the blondie will be a friend and good comfort that he grows closer to. The ML is already being thrown in.

Okay I was waiting to see the baby- and you mean to tell me we NEVER see the damn baby?? The ending is literally the the outside of the operating room- the end. And in the authors note they drew the mc and ml holding the baby, but the baby’s face is BLURRED OUT.
So it’s safe to say, the artist is most likely not good at drawing babies, since they couldn’t even draw the kid’s face

I’m genuinely distraught. I saw the Chinese update authors note for the story and they said it’s discontinued due to expiration of copyright. I was looking forward to seeing their baby in the manhua but now all hope is gone!! (Well there is official art of their baby but I’m still sad)

The thing is I feel like if the copyright is expired can’t they just renew or create a new contract? Usually manhuas get cancelled for not having enough ratings or due to issues with the authors health. So I feel like the expiration of copyright reason is just an excuse because they don’t want to continue the manhua. Idk I feel like the copyright issue should be fixable considering they got permission from the author already to even make the manhua in the first place. This reasoning feels more common with mangas, since many mangas are given a short contract to be adapted into a manga as promotion for the novel only. It’s common in those cases to be abruptly cut off.
My favorite manhuas keep getting cancelled. At least there’s still the novel. But we shall never see the complete manhua ig

I will say I hated woori’s personality when he was with mc. Felt like he was a love bomb that was ready to explode and push boundaries- which did happen lmao.
With the model guy, woori looks more comfortable and isn’t love crazy right from the start. It feels more natural and mutual on both sides. Woori actually feels mature when he’s around model guy. Plus I like the banter between them and the trope of 2nd leads getting together.
Dang FL is messed up. She does remind me of the dude from obsession.
She fr had zero feelings for him, only agreed to date him because she thought he was a catch. She seriously thought that way about her friend?? Like some sort of trophy. And then the latest chapter of her being happy about the ring making him like her slave that worships whatever she does. Yuckkkk.
