Imma need the 2nd ML to get a story of his own with someone else- I don’t think he’s a good match with the FL here, and I don’t want his face card to be wasted as a side character

I’m gonna be so fr, I don’t give af about ANY of the villagers whatsoever. (Except for the kids). From the moment they decided to plot and try to kill guwon, I was never on their side. It was always such a stupid plan. They fr thought they had the ability to beat the hounds who are trained to skillfully kill EVERY DAY. They thought killing the leader would solve everything- but it obviously made it worse since the leader was the one holding them back.
I also think that the villagers have always been very hypocritical. Of course the hounds and guwon have cruel/merciless behavior- but for all of the villagers to have zero guilt casually plotting their deaths makes me certain that their mentality is not that different from them. The reason all of them are alive in the first place is because of the hounds/guwon. They didn’t want to do the work in making their own safe place but wanted to take over their area instead. None of these villagers have the skills to kill zombies, fight against other towns, scavenge food, supplies, etc. They had the leisure to hate the hounds/guwon for not liking how they rule things, but also enjoying the safety within the walls and the items they receive from them.
In my opinion, I hate the villagers more than the hounds as characters- because at least the hounds openly show how cruel they are and are aware of it. The villagers on the other hand act like they’re some heroes of justice, and don’t realize how dumb and similar they really are. Honestly I wish that the hounds and guwon just kicked out all of the villagers and let them fend for themselves. See how long that lasts LMAO.

I partly agree with you but just because someone saved you and gave you safety and a place to live it doesn't mean you deserve to lose your humanity and your rights, to be treated like cattle and tip toeing around without being able to breathe. Sure, both are evil, both plot murder, but in this setting it's understandable. But yes, they are also incredibly stupid, but I understand the need to rebel and don't shame them for that. Imo the author made them too npc brainded :c
Bro they all literally have loved ones that died because of Guwon before they came to that town. Yes it is hypocritical, but that’s just how humans are, and the villagers also admitted that. Also the villagers shows survival bias yk, the ones living there are people who are completely scared of Guwon and the hounds, and Teach just gave them courage to rebel. Yes the plan is dumb, but not every revolution is perfect, most of revolutions just happens because of courage and impulsivity of people. It’s just like saying “why do people rally in this current world or throw their government out when they were already given a lot of things?”. It’s because they dont want to live under a life full of injustice.

Because yeah, it was a bad plan and they are hypocritical and I personally believe that the rebellion was, in part, to ease their own survivor's guilt. But that doesn't mean it wasn't at least partially justified.
Yes, Guwon & the Hounds provided for them and kept them safe but they also brutally and mercilessly killed their loved ones with no remorse or guilt and the townspeople are 100% valid in wanting them gone bc of that, especially since the rules (or at least the penalty for said rules) are insanely oppressive. They're not wrong for wanting to actually live safely & without fear.
I honestly do favour the Hounds and characters and I will call the townspeople stupid til the ends of the Earth but I don't they were wrong for wanting to revenge and wanting to not live under such oppressive leaders.
At the end of the day, it's far more nuanced & complex than "The villagers good; Guwon & the Hounds bad" or "The villagers bad; Guwon & the Hounds good" because both parties had some level of reason for how they operated: Guwon only took in people who would be of some use to the Town and had such strict rules as for there to be enough supplies for everyone and, while wrong, killing outsiders reduces competition for supplies, food etc. At the same time, having to live under & rely on the people who killed your loved ones for little to no good reason, and abide by oppressive rules, would fucking suck and it's perfectly reasonable to want to find a better, more fair way to live.
For the last 3 who replied. I’m not saying their anger was unjustified. I’m also not saying they shouldn’t want revenge. I’m simply saying they’re all extremely idiotic and do not have any sort of skills whatsoever to survive on their own.
I was more down for them ESCAPING and trying to make their own safe town, with their own rules, with all the supplies that they earned and gathered themselves. Rather than benefiting from that same strict/cruel place they hated and taking it over when none of them really worked to get all those medicine, food, etc.
The whole benefiting from them and then trying to kill them and take everything like it’s all theirs is what bothers me.

Anyways people are wondering why people are siding with ML. Personally, to me, I’ve already seen the ML has been the one chasing her the entire time, them getting close and getting into a relationship for the first time was basically all due to his efforts, and her receiving that affection. Then he has to chase her yet again. And she knows she wants him, she gets jealous when he speaks to a coworker, she wants him to continue chasing and wooing her- while also trying to push him away to teach him a lesson. She’s aware she expects him to do the work and message her. She pulls a random guy outside knowing and trying to make him jealous similar to how they did that with the exbf.
Tbh that just sounds so tiring. If I were him I would think she’s playing hot and cold/push and pull tactic. It would feel like that’s how the relationship would always feel: one gives and one takes.
Yeah it feels unnecessary.. relationship contracts are supposed to be at the beginning of the story, not when they're already dating and in love. There's no love to win over anymore at this point

Well we still don't have (53rd chapter) love bombing or couples but we do have love interests to whom she is blind and can't see that they're interested in her lol. But all good, you should start reading it the action is really good.
honestly I’m one of those people I don’t really like romance in action stories (action in romance feels better) but it really depends how they make it because if it’s gonna be some corny usual romance I’d be really disappointed but if the dynamic is more than that it’d be really cool

Bruhhh you mean to tell me the artist chose to change the hair color of the ML?? I never understood the whole “same hair color=siblings” thing. We could’ve had a red head couple. And the thing is the two red colors were COMPLTELY DIFFERENT. The FL’s hair was more ginger/orangeish and the ML’s hair in the novel was closer to a pale regular red. The artist could’ve done completely different tones but they decided to go with the basic black hair. We could’ve had a rare red hair ML

but compared to blue and brown haired, red hair is pretty common! I'd say it's probably on par with blonde
I’m only comparing it to black, blonde and white hair, which are the top most common hair colors for MLs. Anything outside of that is less common. Anyways my point is that choosing ordinary black hair over red hair was lame.
That last chapter was weird. It would have been better if he immediately apologized and looked regretful as soon as she confronted him. But the whole scene of him deflecting and arguing back like it didn’t matter that he lied to her more than once felt off. Like out of character. It’s like his body was possessed by a shitty gaslighting bf and then reverted back to his usual self. I don’t know why that was included because the resolution was not good enough to soothe it over after that argument
I saw a post on social media, where they find out she’s a girl. I do hope just because they know she’s a girl they don’t completely switch up her style and grow out her hair. I think the tomboyish clothing is cute. I don’t want it to be like those obsessively doting families where they suddenly treat her like a little princess

i think it was bound to happen. The only reason she had a boyish style so far was to hide her gender. Now that she doesn't have to hide anymore, no reason to strictly dress boyish.
If you like a tom boyish style on kids, you can check out "Tricked into becoming the Heroine's Stepmother/ Éminence Grise Female Lead Is Trying to Make Me Her Stepmom". The kid in this has a pretty boyish style throughout the story.

I just thought because she has memories of her past life in the modern world, where wearing shorts and shirts were more common, she’d be comfortable with those outfits rather than being made to wear dresses all day everyday. I guess historical stories in general want the FLs mainly to have a girly style rather than have variation

Okay so I checked the novel spoilers and it looks like they changed a lot, especially for the ending of this season. Lots of parts are either rearranged or completely excluded like conversations at the banquet with Duke pos, the Queen was supposed to find out that FL is a spy AT the banquet in a conversation with Duke Krost/the dad: which is why the king in the manhwa mentions they’re having a secret rendezvous, it would make sense if they included that scene of the two talking by themselves. And FL is supposed to spot the mother/wife of Duke krost sneaking into the banquet as a maid and going after her to talk, having an entire conversation of the mother saying what FL’s actual identity is and how she regretted having her, and then FL being kidnapped by Duke pos and being brought to a different location, The dad finding her AND THEN he gets stabbed by the wife.
Theres a lot left out which is why it may feel rushed in the latest part of the manhwa. I guess they wanted a big dramatic cliff hanger for the end of the season. The question is how they’re gonna rearrange and include the rest of those scenes if the dad is already stabbed before any of that happened.
