I don't know if this will help much but my advice would be to keep to enjoying yaoi no matter what your classmates think. You like it and it isn't hurting anyone. There's nothing wrong with you reading it. If you want to avoid their comments maybe it would be good if you didn't talk about it or read it in front of them. If they try to make you talk about yaoi or anything that makes you uncomfortable to discuss with them, say something like, "I'm not interested in talking about that." Don't overreact. Trust me, as someone who was bullied I know how much it hurts when people pick on you, but it's better to not get emotional when they are mean. What they want is a reaction from you so it's better not to give them that satisfaction. You're perfect how you are so don't let them influence you into changing who you are. Keep being yourself and just ignore those jerks. Let their comments slide off your back, they really aren't worth your time.
I had the same problem when my friend assumed I was Les due to me reading yaoi and yuri. (I'm a straight asexual) In my case I just ended up telling her the human mind is never that simple and why does she care so much, but this all depends how old your classmates are. If your classmates are between the ages of 6-15 I don't know what to say man. Just keep being yourself keep a cool head, and if it gets too bad get better help than me. Like get a better adult. Hopefully someone here can give better advice than me.
Well from what I remember when I was in HS, people only ever care about shit if it's a secret or if it bothers you. So if you own up to it and don't care about what they say, they will forget. Just nonchalantly state you like it, but you are straight. End of story.
