I have a question for someone who is up to date on the manga. So like, it’s been awhile, but there was an exchange between Haru and his mother (who whacks him if he calls her “mother”, or does she still?) and they had a discussion about abuse, has REN shared any info or had a traumatic flashback of some sort to get more history?
I honestly started losing interest after Haru bought a cafe but was a trooper for quite a bit of time after that. But the more characters they introduce the less I feel like it will ever be addressed. I wanna knowww.

Haruko has come to Japan and is talking to the black haired woman about a female patient that may have been Ren's mother. She had sold her child for drug money and the child's name was either ren or Allen. She couldn't remember (probably because she was too sick or something) They couldn't find the child where they found the mother and Ren was found at age 6, 30km away from where the mother was in a motel 3mo after she had passed. (Something along these lines, I'm a bit confused and may have mixed up some orders) The patient is already dead.
I know I’m months late, but I gave up on a response and haven’t read manga in awhile.
The thing is, I remember that part, I want to know if Ren has said anything yet, because I get the feeling that he remembers more than what he’s saying.
Like, when Haru (I think) visits REN when he’s a wild child there’s a part where he goes to cover him (and the dogs) up and I believe Ren in that moment briefly sees something else.
Maybe I’m wrong, or maybe that’s supposed to come out later … but I feel like there’s just so much filler in this manga that I’m gonna die before it finishes

Right!? Right!? Geez. I think I started reading this manga in my late teens and now I’m over 30. I might just give up on that, because honestly, that’s the only thing I’m interested in anymore

Searching for a manga that I believe was published between the 2000-2010’s … I don’t have a lot of info about it, so I’ll be absolutely thrilled if this rings a bell for anyone. I *THINK* it involved these things: - two main characters were kid/teen (character Y -younger) either a late teen or adult. (Character A - adult)
- want to say it featured a wing on the cover and had the title bad at least one word with just 3-4 characters. (This one is iffy — it is not NG Life)
- Character Y and character A are partners, but character A finds character Y annoying
- I think character Y is inexperienced and character A has had to jump in to assist on several occasions.
- it has some form of combat, I want to say with a spiritual twist.
- character A was either friends or knows character Y’s older brother, and I think he is reference to once or twice.
- I believe character A wears glasses, makes me think of Yuki Sohma’s hair, and for some reason I get a vibe that he behaved like Kyoya Ootori from Ouran High School Host Club. The latter 2 could be wrong though.
- I want to say there was an aspect related ti character Y’s brother, but I can’t be sure.
I’m going to search a bit longer, but I don’t know what to type in the search engines OTL
googled it after waking up and found it with the first search thanks to AI. It’s a manga called Loveless.

Hello all, I have an image on an external hard drive that I'm hoping somebody recognizes. I'm pretty sure the subjects of this screenshot were a student and a owner of a bar. I'm pretty sure it'd be in the Shounen Ai or Yaoi categories. I want to say the story was like a high school setting where the white haired guy was kind of a sketchy shop where kids went to kill time. The guy with black hair was a delinquent been complaining about two boys in love and then he starts to fall for someone and I believe that’s where the pic is from. I do believe the adult made a move on the boy, who declined it with a fist to the face. I’ll check if the koi story has side characters fitting the description.
It’s been a few years since I’ve asked last, but has there been any progress on Ren’s story?
I remember Haru’s mom telling him that he didn’t remember, but with certain scenes and interactions, I doubted that.
In one of the early chapters when Haru is helping care for Ren in Canada there’s a part where he starts to cover him with a blanket and it almost looked like he had a flashback. I don’t know, maybe the creator forgot.
I lost interest in the story not long after Haru opened his shop (that, and back then I was still waiting for updates, oh how the years fly by). I’d come back just to learn more about that backstory of his.
