I don’t think it’s someone he trusts per say. I’m fairly certain it was explained that the main family realized she had talent and took her to train her and because he’s a narcoleptic he had no say in the matter he probably figured that she’d be safer with them, but I don’t necessarily think that he was the one that asked them to take her. And the main family absolutely did not take her to “ save her “ they took her because they wanted her abilities. Which begs the question of how they’re actually treating her and the fact that we know in the past life she went missing, makes me concerned.

This is a PROPER chasing arc! All too often chasing arcs in manga are: ML discovers that his life is worse without the FL and then deciding he has to have her back so his life can be full again, going begging and being forgiven in one or two chapters. That’s not what’s happening here, he’s actually being forced to realize exactly the pain that he caused, exactly all the ways that things went wrong and is truly feeling guilty and apologetic for the pain that he caused and why things have fallen apart and is trying to take responsibility for that and is truly trying to repent to her and she’s not making it easy and that’s even better.
At this point Leo is going to end up being the ML instead of her father!!

Honestly, I’m so used to 2nd season art changes that it didn’t even phase me what is annoying me is that they made it a point in the 1st season that necromancy is illegal in this kingdom and necromancers are killed when they are found. That is part of the reason she went to the archduke in the first place because she knew they needed her powers and could help protect her in return. I understand she is technically doing these new requests under the protection of someone who says they’re from the royal family but that does not mean you go around announcing to everyone that you are a necromancer! She doesn’t even bother to attempt to hide it anymore! Like Royalty has never backstabbed someone before ?!?!
Also, I would like a little more explanation on what happened to the children from the orphanage because all we know is the director kicked them out onto the street with nothing and nowhere to go and then the director and the two teachers got stuck in the orphanage with the ghosts, but all of the children definitely left first and we just don’t know what happened to them. What the fuck?!

about the children, i don't know why we should know about them; they were kicked and that's it, maybe they became slaves, got killed or other things but it's not their issue and it would probably be hard to track them down
instead, about the necromaner, i kinda agree but the law isn't based on hatred but fear, also at the start they said that they also know that the necromancers are the only people that could cure the king, so to me it's kinda ok that since she's backed by a prince and a powerful duke she can go around taking money in exchange of being helped. she's also being careful about not being spread as a rumor that she's a necromancer, so imo it's just fine, also because all these people *needs* her, so i don't think anyone would snich on her. maybe ahead someone will and something will happen tho, who knows!
