s classes is finally back after the war.... its been so long... I cant wait to read this every single week for the next year or two again
getting sick and tired of this crap ngl... did she or did she not incinerate a goblin?? she can take care of herself and their overprotective bs is getting to me.... if this were actually medieval times, i would get it a little bit more, but this is historical fantasy there is literally a princess fighting on their side. the only reason they treat her like this is bc of riftan and his overprotective bs. im pretty sure its gonna come to a head soon but its getting reeeeaaalllyy fucking annoying...
I mean yes Riftan is overprotective. But I don't think it's fair to assume that Maxi is capable of defending herself in this case just cause she can incinerate one goblin. The issue is that it's not just one goblin, and Maxi can only use magic less than a handful of times a day. Plus, given her nature, she's likely to prioritize others instead of herself. So when the whole monster army ends up breaking through the walls, she's going to use her magic to save others and not have any left to save herself. She's not incompetent or useless. But she doesn't take care of herself, and she doesn't have the power to protect others. If she stays behind just because of a sense of camaraderie, she's going to be one more person the knights have to try to protect. Which is going to put even more people in danger because a chunk of the knights that were left behind will prioritize keeping her safe rather than fighting or saving others. She's a burden. That being said, I don't like that they're lying to her. But I also don't like that Maxi doesn't care about herself and doesn't ever think about consequences.
And the princess is essentially a soldier. She has been trained as such, and she has experience with battles and wars. Maxi does not. So it's not fair to compare them. Maxi has barely even started her magic journey while the princes has years of experience.
She can't to shit against that big ass monsters bruh

I'm glad things are looking up for him AND i know korea has a completely different culture but he really should have pushed that wrongful firing, he has SO much evidence.. he was two coworkers clearly willing to testify for him, an employer that might (the guy that disobeyed the ceo by making uyun's firing peaceful) and witnesses to stalking as well as harmful and threatening text messages and interactions.... there's so much evidence that it's insane and i really think he had a case... though it's also clear uyun didnt even think that a guy that crazy might have enemies, so i guess it's been established that he's a little too nice/innocent/dumb for his own good sometimes....
