Im desperately searching for this story but its been literal years since I last read this so my memory is loose but please help me.
So the first main thing is that it's a shoujo, with the focus being the male lead and a piano or sum... Its from the girl's pov though. The girl plays some sort of musical instrument, Im pretty sure it might be a piano but shes bad at it?? The colours are muted, like its a tragedy Im pretty sure (the ending is bitter sweet with the male lead disappearing)
For some reason, this girl goes into this mansion or something and there she meets the male lead and hes REALLLYY good at playing the piano pretty sure and i dont remember anything else but the end where shes playing at a concert or something and she thinks of the ml

It isn't? The fl in American ghost Jack does goes into a mansion for a game show which is haunted by a blonde male ghost called Jack who was a popular singer back when he was alive. This ghost wasn't abused but was manipulated by his "butler" who is actually a demon to turn into a ghost. Also Jack plays the piano and later the fl plays the piano too (??) in a pretty dress and thinks of him when his soul finally gets freed or smth. I don't remember the ending but it might have been bittersweet. It IS coloured too
