I feel like Ritsu should have put 2 and 2 together that he's more satisfied with Rui than doing violent stuff... or at least ponder. They did not need to go through all that if they both communicated properly and figure things out together.
I think in the newer chap we definitely see how his childhood really skewed him and I think its a trauma response to he obvi was confusing his feeling and thought if they stay while engaging in hard play then they'll stay might be what his mom did and the friend did say he has mommy issues think we'll get a more indepth look at his past cuz he obviously overlapping subs with his mom
