It's very beautifully written, the characterization and development is so realistic, and the plot is amazing. But lowkey because it's such a well written story rooted so deeply in real world struggles, and BECAUSE it's so human I hate the idea they probably end up together in the end. I understand Yuri gets more developed and he's already becoming a better guy. This is just incredibly toxic and codependent, I think this should almost be classified as a tragedy, I think a happy ending would be one where they developed and grew together, finding out how to navigate happiness, and then at the end they smile and go their separate ways, even if they would think about each other the rest of their lives because I cannot see how this ends up being healthy lmao

I read some of the novel, it's not completely translated. Mc has a debt due to some of his close relatives having health issues. He lies to his father about going to the academy, his father is shameless asking for money for the sake of the family, when it's HIS responsibility to provide for his children. Ml is a massive piece of shit, next chapters he's going to force mc drink barley tea until he throws up because mc refused to drink alcohol. He's super violent, he'll coerce mc who can't refuse at all because it would get him fired, making him lose his only means of survival, into giving him a blowjob, instead of having him sell his ass. He'll make his mouth bleed. It's the usual trope of ml being a sadistic sociopath, making mc suffer for his pleasure. Rape will most definitely happen next, it's not hard to predict.
