Also, it was clear that his lower belly was a bit bloated. It's actually enough and I even thought it was well drawn how his tummy looks different depending on their angle or position. This looks actually more realistic compared to Theo in Smyrna and Capri, if you've read it.. All the way until before he was in labor, he had perfect abs outline..

Like you can have abs, and you can get pregnant and that will look different than someone who doesn’t have abs, BUT when you’re carrying a child your bump would not just start only down near your bellybutton with a little six pack on top of it it looks like two separate things the way the author drew it.
