The beginning was a little rough, so I wasn’t sure if I was going to make it through the whole story, but it was super sweet and nice all the way to the end. I understand the rating bc the beginning started the way it did, but it really redeemed itself. It really should be rated a little higher,imo!

This is set to be a wonderful story! For those who need a history lesson, this isn’t racism. Also, he was a Union soldier during the American Civil War. Just depicting the war and placing characters in the Reconstruction era doesn’t make it racism. And denying it all happened negates half of great literature. The stories of the resistance movements, Harriet Tubman stories, tragic stories of the American Indians,, etc. Let’s just enjoy tthis for what it is. It’s BL manhwa. Our delicious yaoi. Black apricot is known for pretty violent manhwas. So I know that this will be a rather violent journey. But it is hard to figure out what exactly is going on with the story, as the translations are all a bit confusing. I will likely just read the raws to get further clarification….i loved Legs that Cannot Walk.

This was such a sweet read! Although some of the expressions were a bit wonky, these two had the sweetest love story, despite the odd beginning. The weird bell thing didn’t really go with the overall vibe though. I know it has its quirks, but I love the overall story a lot. I wish happy stories got a little more love!
