I marinated this for over 3 years after the 1st season has ended and I can't believe it still isn't completed, I did check on season 2 but after 15 chapters in I skipped it completely and let it marinate until Ian returned
Did not think it would take another season for my glorious Ian to return
I felt like season 2/backstory was dragged out way too much, I get it we wanna understand Brian and whatnot but he didn't deserve a whole season in my opinion
It's clear Ian is the MC in season 1 why make us go root for another version of him and like dedicate 50+ chapters for the flashback when many of the readers and lore were already revealed in S1, I'd get it if the flashback was like 20 chapters max but 50+ was way too much
Plus season 3 barely had half of the chapters on season 2 which was sad since I missed Ian a lot and wished we had more of him again
I enjoyed season 3 except for the fact that Heron is drawn so much better than Sol in majority of S3 like damn why would you make the villain/2nd lead hotter?!?!?
HERON WITH GLASSES ALMOST HAD ME JUMPING SHIPS BECAUSE DAMNNNNN
Sol needed to step his game up in S3
I honestly do hope that S4 will be the last season and it won't takettoo long of a break and finally that everyone finally get their head out of their asses(looking at Sol)

Brian's season was the best season. Skipping season 2 is doing such a disservice to the author and all the world building and character development that shows how Sol became the man he is today -- thanks to Brian.

Sorry but like yeah season 2 would be long and be cut into 2 parts if they plan to follow what they originally said, hee ryang will also do questionable and unforgivable things during this season and spend a long time also repenting/regretting it
Season 3 would be the ending time that ties up loose ends which would likely mean it would end with a happy or sad end idkk
But the authors said that hee ryang will be doing a lot during this season
Yeonjo I honestly feel sorry for him tbh he does deserve better, both of them deserved better in my opinion, heeryang should've been a damn scholar! I hate his family and the emperor for having used and discarded him
I know he did a lot of horrible stuff but in my opinion he likely could've have gotten away with not doing as he was ordered, he would've been sent to die back in the boarders or worst so yeah
