Im not sure if its like this on everyone's phone, but..
- Go to the person's page u accidentally followed
- scroll down to their pfp
- there should be a "unfollow" right under the pfp
- press it
- a pop up will appear that says "are you sure?"
- click yes
And that should do it ^-^ hope it works for u
