Basically the ML is working for a female politician who's next candidature can be won or lost depending on a renovation project of an urban area. There are impediments, like the owner of the gym not wanting to sale it and that is the 2ndML. The ML will try to convince the 2ndML to sell it, and the story shows how the conflicts makes these two closer...but not for the right reasons.
In my opinion is quite interesting, I won't spoil you more, but in case you can't handle violence, explicit sex scenes, SA, and past trauma I suggest to NOT read it.
