So I'm in my 1st yr of dental school and there's only a month left for my finals so how tf do I force myself to sit and study for atleast 3 hrs coz I just get distracted sooo easily even if I delete insta I get distracted by those dumb yt shorts and I just keep getting stressed about it to the point my healths degrading,I honestly wanna cryyyy so bad coz I think I might not even be able to pass
you can actually restrict youtube from showing you any shorts, just go to the configuration and restrict your timing to 0 minutes in shorts, then they won't show up anymore on your feed. i struggle a lot with that too, so i did that, and also put a timer on all the apps i spend the most time on (instagram, youtube facebook because i'm addicted to marketplace). it helps me stay focused and also just spend less time on my phone, specially when i have things to do
Can anyone please tell me some sleeping tips ,coz it's takes me hours to fall asleep at night due to anxiety issues ,I was in bed at 12:40am and now it's 2:35 am , during that time I kept my phone outside but still couldn't fall asleep istg I'm going crazyyy
You can try this:
Take a pen and notebook...write down all your feelings and talk to yourself and tell yourself that you're okay and everything will be alright, you are okay and you can go to sleep.... basically talk to your heart while you write it all down
Keep lights low....
I did this and felt more relaxed
you should consider taking Zoloft for anxiety tbh! You should def go to a doctor if you are ruminating at night.
Magnesium glycinate is good too! and over the counter too!
i listen to white noise and try to focus on the sound of the noose and it clears my head. Or I pull up a guided meditation from youtube. One of my favorites is called bubble meditation, and it really helps you sleep. Anything that can help you visualize a scene to stop thinking about the now/future. When I was a lot younger before I started meds, listening to music and making a story about the songs in my head used to distract me and help me sleep lol. from, a psych doctoral student
Since this is completed, is it worth reading?!
