I didn't watch the S1 since I was only looking forward to the main story. THEY DID NOT GIVE JUSTICE TO IT. There were missing characters (like Gerard and Jin) and lost the essence of Gray being a "weak hero". In S2, Gray should've never lost to any fight because that's his whole character was on about, he doesn't play a losing game. They also failed to show that Gray was book smart which he used to his advantage in fights. Then there's also Donald's character. In here, you'd somehow sympathize with him but in the kdrama he's just plain asshole. The adaptation was such a waste as the cast were perfect if only they didn't change and condensed everything.

? they went the same route with donald in the show, they just didn't show it as much. Donald in the show is similar to sieun– they're both stuck in their past relationships. But, unlike Sieun, donald doesnt make relationships where he can move on + he goes down a worse route than sieun did. He was bullied when he was younger and he was still an orphan. I agree with the sieun part though. I was really looking forward to seeing him and wolf in whc2, just for wolf to be nerfed and sieun barely like the mc anymore
