Ooh! Thanks for the info. That line made me think he was at least a few years younger than ml, lol, cause most of the time they only feel like their being treated like a child when there is more of a gap.
I don’t think that she is their daughter because at the end of chapter 31 it shows she is still pregnant and then there is blood on the dads hand, so I’m pretty sure she miscarried (dunno if you can’t miscarry that late in pregnancy) or lost the baby somehow. She also says they lost so much that day, so i believe she is talking about the daughter passing away unborn.
i think mc might be daughter of that family who can communicate with animals
