An adventure fantasy with a female mc (can also be male) there can also be romance but it can be secondary to the plot. If you know anything pls rec!
Not fantasy but "medieval" setting, with great female characters; there's also romance but late in the story: https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/emperor_and_the_female_knight/
And if you haven't read it yet I definitely recommend greatest estate developer!

I also remembered that it was bl and I think the merman was chained under there?? When I woke up I realised it was the plot of smt I read years ago. Can anyone help me??
