Ngl, it's so weird reading these stories backwards xD I started from the latest release "Desire Me If You Can", then saw "Kiss Me If You Can", then finished binge-reading "Kiss Me Liar" xD Ik you can read them in any order since they are separate couples, but still!!! It's still insane how I didnt encounter any of these before!
Also, Josh and his sister looks so different in "Kiss Me Liar", but it's still cute to see the cameos of all the couples tho! I know the parents have a novel, and I assume the other brothers have one as well? I'm excited to read their stories in the future!
Just saw some art of older fathers/ uncles/ grandfathers as side characters and I wish there are some where these older gentlemen are the MCs instead!
Doesn't matter if the genre is Shoujo, Josei, Yaoi, Shounen Ai or Bara. I don't mind if this is a story about an older couple, or whether if there is a huge age gap. I just want to see an older man with greyish streaks or full on grey hair and a more mature-looking face as MCs instead of the typical smooth pretty boys!! I need my variety!!

I stopped reading this a bit after the anime came out (after Zeno's powers got revealed... chapter 100... something?) because I prefer to binge read story-focused stories like these, especially since each chapter comes out monthly, so I could only take a peek from time to time... it has been over a decade tho, so I might have to start over xD not complaining haha! Alright, based on these types of stories, I reckon the ml just doesnt want mc to get involved with his current life. Maybe he is in a dangerous or unstable situation atm OR perhaps he wants his memory of her to stay pure after he became so jaded.
Other than the typical amnesia, if this goes in a different direction, then yipee it's something new!! Still tho, I do like the mc atm. She can definitely overthink and have worries, but she is still trying her best; especially for the person she likes. I find her balanced and quite charming xD

It's not the first time Ive read noble turned commoner stories, but this feels a bit more believable with how the change in status affected mc.
It is quite charming to see the little decisions they take to improve their situation, like the compromises or sacrifices they had the make, and how they emphasize the effects of their change in status despite having some level of connections.
I also like the dynamic of the mc and ml, and how they are focusing on their situation first instead of romance, but I can see how these little actions add up to lead to an emotional outcome; like how mc's open support improves the ml's confidence, and how the ml's honest appreciation may help sway mc's duty-bound/logical mindset. Gaahhh the potential is there!! They're so adorable!!
Okay, I'll stop rambling. I look forward to this story's development. Perhaps I'll let this marinate if I can xD
I find throuple stories interesting because of moments liek this. Moments where two of them fight and the other has to step up and mediate. Kinda brings balance to the mix.
It's more mature and healthy for the directly-involved duo to handle their issue themselves, but it's still interesting to see this scenario nonetheless xD
The only way to make this better is if the two tops become more intimate, but hey, I dont think that's the dynamic of this particular throuple ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Just wanted to put a reminder that this story deals with people who are mainly driven by their emotions.
So Itoshi's words & behaviour may seem contradictory and illogical at the moment, but he is just truly backed in a corner where he is forced to face his inner past demons. Sadly, he cannot communicate well due to this, so mc is taking the full brunt of his outbursts.
Once everything calms down, hopefully he is stable enough to actually communicate about compromises/solutions. Also, talk to your girlfriend about your past!!! Maaaaannnnn, he is so frustrating, but his actions make sense so dang it...
I really love how the author portrayed him. It's also fun seeing how emotional characters can be portrayed in a story since it helps me understand their way of thinking a bit more.

On another note, this is such a nice segue to Itoshi's past. It also causes them to communicate more properly since we know that Itoshi looovvees to talk about himself~ Well- SPIT IT OUT BOY!! QUIT BOTTLING IT ALL UP!!

Yknow, I saw a movie ages ago about a person that can rewrite history with his actions, but he will remember all the timelines he's been on. I forgot the name, was it butterfly effect? Idk.
Anyways, at a later part, he starts to get a headache and this condition worsens simply because his brain's memories are both too abundant and perhaps conflicting with each other. I assume something similar is happening to the ml. Maybe this is why the ml's brain is rejecting or hiding his past memories with the fl in this story. Trauma could also be a factor, nothing against a simple reason as that.
I forgot the conclusion of the movie. I also doubt that they'll delve too deeply into the effects of the ml changing the timeline in this story, but I was just interested in the similarity and also because this story unlocked a past memory within this forgetful brain haha xD

Ah- I am reminded of a oneshot story that's similar to this, but it involved brothers. It was one of the times where I actually felt sad and quite disturbed despite the interesting toy concept. Same bluetooth toy and same scared reaction by the uke; even same 'ghost' reasoning. This will most likely end on a happier note tho, so I hope this overwrites that scenario from the other manga in my memory.

Ahhhh!!! This made me realize that this is basically a story about the parents of a future ml with a sad background. The type where the ml's mom dies or gets sick and the dad doesnt care about his son at all. Oh wow, what an interesting perspective. Sad but interesting. I can't believe my brain just clicked about it just now.
